pretty much Australia moves to make same sex marriage legal. and i don't really like this. since firstly, God made a man and a women to share in this beautiful ceremony. and secondly it is CLEARLY WRONG IN THE EYES OF GOD. if any of you believe that it is right, either talk to me and sort it out, or dont and have the pleasure of explaining it to the LORD when you meet him.

please please please do this! they take ur details, but i can assure you that they do not share your information. please trust that. (plus if ur on this web site there is not reason why you shouldnt - gosh)

Ya know.., simply because you decided to throw a bucket load of condemnation in with your request I aint signing it

Okay I stole this from a Facebook post but it pretty much sums up how I feel on the matter. Homosexuals being allowed to get married will not destroy marriage because heterosexuals are perfectly capable of doing it themselves. People who act like homosexuals getting married is the worst thing ever to happen to marriage seem to forget the long history of straight people who have all but obliterated it.

vikki - i didn't say its the worst thing, God says its wrong, so i believe its wrong too. (i also think that adultery is wrong, there is no hierarchy.. people dont take marriage as seriously as they should).
 
I wasn't saying it you did. But giving the post the title "SAVE AUSTRALIAN MARRIAGE" as if implying that banning homosexuals from getting married will really save it is just as inaccurate.

If you are like many young people thinking about what marriage means, and feel that if homosexuals are allowed to do the same it has been down-graded since your parents married, you are fully entitled to think that way, and make no appologies for it.

The majority of people, polls tell us, think that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

And this is not just a Christian issue. In the day the laws were put in place, no one even thought marriage was otherwise.

Changes have come. Fair enough. But while the majority think marriage is between a man and a woman and you feel that a change in the definition takes something from you, go for it!

Many, many people think the same.

I totally agree with this statement; even most Christians don't take marriage as seriously as they should....There was a woman in this site's chatroom a few days ago who reminded me of this. Her chat box said that she was married. However, practically as soon as she came in, she began making comments that made me think that she was quite loose. Someone asked her "what's up?" in the main chat, and she typed in "making babies". She then got on the mic and proceeded to tell everyone how she desired to have children with one of the other chat members (who must not have been her husband; his chat window said that he was single. Of course, even if the two of them WERE married, it still would've been an inappropriate subject for the lounge, but anyway....). She went on for quite awhile, talking fondly of/flirting with the man she desired who wasn't her husband, and surmising what their children would look like should they have any. Although I didn't suspect that she was serious in the sense that she was looking to buy airline tickets to fly to the bachelor's country to meet him, it was a real slap in the face to the woman's marriage. I wonder what her husband would've said had he come in and heard what she was saying. Also, knowing that God sees all........
 
Christians should take every opportunity they can to demonstrate against the justifying of abominations.
 
I will add that those who in their godless and wicked imaginations justify these abominations (saying their sin is no sin) and condemn the just (those who state what the law of God says on the matter) are also are abominations before God.

Amen! We hear all the time that "times have changed" but Scripture assures us that God never does. Same sex marriage is a sin, is a sin, is a sin. It should not be condoned by any society.

I don't define how marriage should be based on celebrities. And the world response to those bad things in marriage was very harsh. Tiger did not get off easy, the world was against what he did.
