I just want to know.....and I know all guys don't do this and even women do this....but would just like to know from a mans point of view, or if women have heard anything about this.
Why do guys say he loves you and misses you, and then a week later already is talking and trying to get with other girls?? The break up was mutual.....the girl knew he wasn't the one but stayed and then God touched his heart and he felt like she wasn't the one. But he still loves her and wishes she could of been the one. I don't get how a man can move on so fast. It seems like he never loved the girl in the first place. Is he searching for something??? It sounds like he's desperate.....and the girls he's going for are trash. Not like her who had morals and class. Why don't guys give themselves time to mourn? Are they just trying to hide their feelings or just trying to get over her fast? Do you think he still thinks about her??? Do you think he's hurting?
They both agreed to be friends but he has slowly just cut her off.....I don't get it!!!!

Sometimes when a break up happens, one partner will move on more quickly than the other because they had already decided that it was over long before they shared their feelings with their partner. I think he is making a mistake not allowing time for his heart to heal but some people think they need a rebound relationship.

My guess is that he is good-looking and that is typical behavior for many good-looking guys.

Hi Rachel

The word 'love' can be used loosely by those who do not see the need to back it up with action and commitment. If a guy behaves in this way, it shows how much he understands the word OR whether he has the maturity to act on it. And it also gives you very clear signal whether he's ready for commitment in a relationship. Then the question is whether you still want to stay or move on.

I hope this helps in some way.

Firstly, this isn't a gender issue. I dated a woman who told me she wasn't over me months later, next thing i know shes living with some guy and they married not long after. So it goes with both genders.
Why does this happen? I think mostly its people that just don't want to be single. No matter how some people may feel, they may genuinely love and care for someone, but if they breakup, they don't want to stay single, so they just run off and find whatever to keep from being single.
This is something i see all the time with women lately. They have a relationship or special affections for a guy, but when nothing happens or things end, they can't get over the guy. Bottom line is you aren't together. Move on with your life and stop worrying about what he's doing with his.
Also, ladies, you don't 'have' to try to stay friends with every ex. That's another common thing i see. Women acting as though they need to stay friends with ex's. If it happens, great, but some many women push it so hard, and make it so personal and emotional if it doesn't happen.
Gods told you both you aren't to be together, so move on with your life. You're claiming he sounds 'desperate' for dating around with women you judge as less than you, yet you're the one that is apparently still stuck on him and what he's doing with his life. Perhaps spend more time worrying about your way of dealing with this situation and less worrying about him.

Very true. Some people just have to have someone in their life in order to feel wanted. I know several people that move on from relationship to the next without giving themselves any time to get over the previous relationship.

However, to be completely honest, most guys today are just in it for the sex and really doesn't matter with whom it comes from. The sad part is that there are people in church like this.

I realized....he is so lonely and is trying to search for happiness and companionship that he is trying to get it anywhere and everywhere. I feel sorry for him and have been praying for him daily. I can see that hes miserable. I know he loved her, cause he keeps bugging her. I hate to see someone so desperate for "love" from anyone. Hes just going to keep getting himself hurt over and over and have a miserable life if thats how hes going to do it. Thanks guys!!!! Please pray for him!!! Hes a good guy, with a good heart, he just needs God to be his focus!!! :)

I don't know. My wife married someone else 3 weeks after the divorce was final.
