Salma Hayek. I know she's not a fictional character, but I love her for being a 100% REAL, beautiful person and not a phony "look-at-me-I'm-so-perfect" celebrity. Also because of her strong advocacy against bullying (she was bullied as a child) and her talent as a producer and director. She's also quite gorgeous

Makes sense then, zere. France needs a boost to its economy. So 'chainmail' that gal in a knight suit and let'er ride . Hmmmm, maybe that's why France's economy is close to other Euro countries' status. I mean, if I was going to market salma hayek to help my country I sure wouldn't cover every square inch of her.body. I mean, man,put a rugby uni on her , or, put a soccer uni on hayek and put her on the pitch (soccer field) . she might even make that team. Just kidding, Francealots .

In my defense I've never dressed up as a Klingon, or started a 'Who is the best Star Trek Captain' poll, so I don't think I qualify as a trekkie!
Rather I'm just someone who likes Science Fiction, but not in the worryingly unhealthy way
I take it you are not a trekkie......yet you knew who I was talking about.......curious!
I hadn't considered that!
I guess there'll be some cultural problems to work out, but I think the rewards will make it worthwhile

The original Starbuck from the 1970's was a man, played by an actor who later starred in the original 'A-Team' back in the 1980's. However, in the SyFy tv series remake they turned Starbuck into a woman. While I liked the character herself, it just wasn't Starbuck thus Syfy alienated a lot of their core base so the show didn't last but about 3 to 4 seasons. Way too much drama & not enough action.
The sad thing is that they ruined Battlestar Galacta's chances of being turned into a movie... with Starbuck as a guy!

That was me pulling teeth. I don't tend to nurse crushes on fictional characters, historical figures, celebrities, people on the internet, or people I would have no chance of dating. That isn't to say I don't make exceptions. Ohhh Abigail Adams, if only there were some sort of kooky scifi means of obtaining you!

Shhhhh... I don't want people to know I actually watched the original Battlestar Galactica.
@Nod, she was a queen on the original BSG but her planet got blown up, but she survived despite not wanting to desert her people, and Starbuck had a thing for her.
