hello, I am new here and would like to ask you to pray for me. I am a recovering addict and have recently had a nervous breakdown. I am on meds now and am feeling a bit better.
I go back to work tomorrow after being off for some time and need prayer for strength.

I just asked God (i was backsliden a long time) to forgive me and fill me with the holy spirit and peace.

Praying for you! I had a nervous break down a couple years ago only to get diagnosed with PTSD, Generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. I have been in your shoes! You'll do great at your job! Praying for God to give you the strength that you need.. Praise the Lord that you rededicated your life :)
 
Heavenly Father you know us so well...you know our hearts and minds...search Frisbee, show him how to get back into alignment with your will for his life. Give him wisdom, knowledge, depth and insight...So he maybeable to discern what is best and be blameless in your sight. Give him a deep passion and disire to get into the word and the spiritual understanding to go with it. May he get to know how much you Love him... In Jesus Name, Amen

This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.
 
You are being prayed for brother, and don't forget that your Jesus Christ Himself is praying for you also and prayed for you even before you existed. I really exhort you to read John chapter 17 it will move you. But stay close to Him and depend on Him as your source of everything and obey Him, He will do the rest, God bless you!
 
I'll pray for you, if you asked to forgive you, then He has forgiven you. All I have to say is pray continously and make all your requests known to God, read the bible and hang out with good Christian friends to build you. God bless
 
Try and think of yourself in a whole new light. Not as a recovering this or that. But as the kind of person you now want to be. Dear lord help this person and help us all with our addictions. amen

thank you so much everybody. tears are rolling down my check.

I am pretty messed up and need a lot of healing inside.
I used drugs to try to survive inside my head, to try and keep my sanity.

I have prayed numouros times today and am still clean. I asked God to show me what is dark in this world so i can avoid it and I asked Him to give me love for others.

I can't begin to tell you guys how much i appreiate the prayers for me.

God is my only hope

fisbee, there's no mountain too high or no valley too low that he ( Jesus Christ ) can't carry you through, but only if you'll put your total trust in him.
Heavenly Father I lift up to you, fribee in the name of Jesus. I pray Lord that you will comfort him and give him strenght to over come this drug addiction. Give him wisdom Lord to trust you and only you, in the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
