Thats a really good idea, since you never know when the electricity will go out, and your in an office or room with no windows. (Or classroom in my case.)

It depends on where I'm going. If some fool decides to disrupt the peace in the valley, I'm not going to be the one crawling away to wait for the boys in blue while he or she commits atrocities! :eek: Don't worry though, for those of you who like to make sure firearms are limited to criminals only, I carry concealed so y'all won't know it's there until it hits the fan. :p

My Samsung Galaxy tablet - I will try to get Wi-Fi anywhere and everywhere that I can! LOL
My cell phone - Granted, it may be dead, but it feels good to have it with me
Roy - My pink panther that rides with me to make me not so nervous on car trips

I have a turquoise Teddy Bear that I like to take with me on long road trips, when I go by myself. I got it one year when I was traveling back to Texas from Missouri. Somewhere around OK, my car started having some issues. Anyway, I stopped at this Gas station, and saw these really beautiful teddy bears in a crane game. I decided to go for the turquoise one, cause I thought it was so beautiful. And well, as you can guess, I got it. In fact I got it on the first try. I wanted to get another one, but wasn't able. Anyway, I was satisfied with the one I got. So, when I got back to the car, I discovered that it was a birthstone teddy bear, and you can guess which month mine was. Yep, the same month the teddy represented. For some reason, it made me feel as if God was reaching out to me, letting me know that He is there. And so, anytime I go on trips by myself, I like taking my bear, just to remind me God is with me.

What a fantastic story, and I am glad I am not alone in the stuffed animal regard! I got Roy (he's about 4' tall and everyone calls him my child lol) from my former pastor's mother-in-law who was like a grandmother to me. She passed in 2009 and no matter how much he has started to fall apart I keep fixing him and trying to hang onto him for as long as possible because of the memories he holds and I cannot find another 4' panther ANYWHERE.
 
My niece had a 4 foot panther :D but I have no idea where it went. I think you girls are funny, in a cool interesting way.
 
My phone, that my Grandma refers to as my 'Personal Assistant' since it does everything :P
Keys, which have various guitar/bass picks, pepper spray, and a knife included as key chains
And I always seem to have some kind of ticket stubs in my jacket pockets, either from movies or hockey games. I never seem to get around to cleaning them out...
 
Im not gonna mention cell phone coz its obvious we take 'em with us, and so I dont waste my options :D

1. My hairbrush - since I mostly walk whenever I go (in the city) the wind loves to mess with my hair :p

Pfft. Nah, clothes are the 'obvious' items we need not mention. But a mobile telephone? I'd call that a luxury surplus item if ever there was one.

Well to be honest Im not a phone person.. I actually dont like them.. but I use my cellphone as a watch too :D so yea I need it to tell the time :p

Ah nuts! I forgot to put wristwatch on my list!

I'm not a mobile 'phone person either - in fact I have never owned such a device. When all the kids were buying them a decade or so ago, I just assumed it was a passing fad like Pokemon or Pogs so I never jumped on that particular bandwagon. And when I see what a 'necessity' they've become in peoples' lives, I'm glad I steered clear.
 
car key,wallet, knife, cell phone, multi tool card (includes knife, tooth pick, tweezers, compass, bottle/can opener, and measurements), if i go out at night i take a pen light as well
