Sorry, I know this isn't a singles themed post, but I have to put this out there because I want you to recognize who I am despite the name change.

I used to be KiwiCA.

I got to the end of my rope recently after having a sister in Christ have a practically identical name to me and so every time I heard 'Kiwi' in the chat room it was like being in a loud and busy mall and hearing my name crop up all the time. Which tends to be a bit discouraging and embarrassing when you find out they weren't in fact talking to you.
Secondly, no one ever got that CA stood for Canada, all the Americans seem to think they own the letters C & A. You don't. You guys got US, Canada gets CA.

So I gave up, and switched for a name Im far more proud of. If you know me, you'll get it. Even if you have the intelligence of a gerbil you should still be able to get it.

Very nice change, I am impressed. I also can understand your dilemma, as I am sure I know who you are referring to, and certain chatters said this other chatter's name CONSTANTLY, so I understand the change, good for you. I knew when you came in that CA was Canada, actually, because I can tell by typing styles - SO *breath* Welcome back to CC :)
 
American's don't think we 'own' the letters C & A. Its just that we use CA for the shortened version of one of our biggest and most popular states, so obviously our minds are going to go there rather than Canada. Its a natural reaction. So drop the US bashing, please.

So let me get this right... You had the name KiwiCA then changed it to CC_Bride because you were tired of being discouraged and embarrassed in the chat room? (Since im American and think i own the letters C and A, sometimes i get all mixed up, so had to make sure i got what you were sayin)

Well I think it was a waste of time changing your nickname, cause you just embarrassed your self far more with this thread. May i suggest another name change?

I tease, I joke :D I changed my name too because I don't feel Forgetive anymore & I feel clumsy Honest. So why not? A name change due to confusion & misunderstandings is perfectly fine.

Lol Sorry, I wasn't US bashing (although Im sure it read that way). I was just exasperated after a LONG night of "OOh a New Zealander in California!" and "Kiwi kiwi kiwi kiwi kiwi kiwi!!!!!!" *sigh
So I apologise for my annoyance for just a few people being takien out on everyone esp Californians lol.

But no, Im sticking to this nickname, I like it :D

I really didn't think much about CA, unless it was identifying who your husband was.
 
Wait we call her CC? Thats confusing I thought this was supposed to relieve us of this!
