What do you think about Narnia? is it demonic?

I read all the all the books and so far have liked all the movies..personally I've seen a lot of christian themes in them..but I do see how one could think it's demonic in some ways...But all in all..I thought it was good..

I think the thread as affirmed the fact that the lies, deception is so rooted, that people will defend something that they enjoy even if you tell them it is misleading.

If something is popular, then it is everyone who speaks against it that is wrong/crazy, i think it sums up people of today.

I think the Bible warns of things to come and people have not noticed them.

I do not gain anything from telling you the truth, I wanted you to see that YAHWEH wants to put the light on the deception.

YAHWEH deserves praise,obedience, love.

Why not search the scriptures for yourself.

YESHUA is our Saviour, YAHWEH gave us a redeemer, there is no need to read pagan stories, on the assumption that it is referring to the Bible.

When someone is using abominable ways to lead you to the Bible they are not accepting the truth of YAHWEH.

They are making their own idea come to life and corrupting others along the way.

It's not the point of defending cs lewis or popular story called as narnia just like that.
It's about defending the right for people of thinking their own
Calling narnia as pagan story is not right. Narnia have borrowed the elements used in paganism but it's not pagan story itself.
What's colliding in this thread is two diffrent ways of thinking. one saying that we should stay away everything with certain types, like pagan origin elements or things called as magic and others that says that name don't make things bad but the content.

By content I mean the meaning of the words and "items" told. You CAN call magic that when you are lighting a match but all of us know it's not really magic. But similar way done couple of hundred years ago it WAS. (or was it)
In narnia or many other books in same cathegory there are characters and things not from christian origin, does that make them and the whole story/stories demonic if they happen to be popular? They are fairy tale characters just like western Santa Claus, which to my understanding is far more pagan than narnia.

I read all the 7 books and also watch the movie and there's no problem with that book it's just only represents christian symbolism like Aslan the Lion who rules Narnia, was an analogy for Jesus,throughout the Narnia series it is stated that Aslan "is not a tame lion" and He is powerful.Aslan has magical authority both temporal and spiritual.Aslan's country eventually encompasses heaven. The group has died but Aslan's country (Heaven) is more real than the Shadowlands (earth).But that's only a fantasy!If u don't like the fantasy or fictions then don't read it.!This book is one that can be read by all Christians or non-christians who are interested in Lewis’ insightful writings and those searching for material relevant to life after death.Although there are scriptural quotations on heaven and hell throughout the book, there is no chapter devoted specifically to a biblical examination of heaven and hell.Overall, I found this book to be enjoyable and thought-provoking. It gives insight into C.S Lewis brilliant mind and turns our attention anew to the wonder of heaven and the awfulness of hell.

In no way do i demonize people who have read them, I am concerned for fellow men.

The Bible is clear on Wizard and Witches.

Jesus did not come and give us a fantasy, he gave us truth.

I think the Christian view is a very good selling point, but going against the Bible to give a message does not seem very fruitful.

Read the Bible carefully, when I say the Bible has elements of fantasy in it, I am not meaning to insult God's word or say it is not true, I believe the Bible is true, most of it, but what I mean is there are fantastic images in the Bible, like the images of cherubim, seraphim, angels, heaven, demons, dragons, heaven and hell, read Ezekiel, Daniel, Revelations, the books with fantastic descriptions of out of this world beings, heavenly and hellish, Satan is described as being a "prowling lion that goes about roaring seeking whoever he may devour"

BUT Jesus Christ is described as the Lion of Judah and the Lion and the Lamb.


It's like this, there is the false lion, Satan, who rules through witches like the white witch, who is a usurper, false queen since she really does not have the right to rule Narnia, she is a tyrant and imposter.

Aslan, the true Lion King, is Jesus Christ, the Lion of Judah, Lion and Lamb. Aslan goes through a grisly sacrifice and comes back to life because of his self-sacrifice and willingness to suffer and die for someone else.


Aslan eventually wins the battle against the wicked witch that represents Satan

For our loving Yahweh to have to kill his own creation, those people must of been very wicked.

Heavenly Father knows best, and if he said it needed to be done then it needed to be done.


I trust in my Heavenly father and nothing he does is wrong, he can not do wrong for he is Almighty.

Salvation was created through our Heavenly Father, it was he that gave us Yeshua.

When Abraham offered Isaac, he showed our Heavenly Father that he trusted him.

Heavenly Father, said no it is okay, but was pleased that Abraham would sacrifice his son.

Heavenly Father, already knew that he would sacrifice his own son for us.

That is how loving Yahweh is, he gave us his only son for Salvation.

Abraham was to be the root of that salvation, and that is why the chosen one's were to keep all that Yahweh commanded.

When you read the Messiah Yeshua words you hear that.

Jewish people were chosen by Yahweh to bring his son the Messiah into the world, so that we can all be redeemed.


The chosen one's were eating un risen bread, yet the true bread of life was risen and that is Yeshua our Saviour.

It is all there written in the Bible.

We do need to be held responsible for our words. Please review your post above. Understand that your use of second person voice is clearly directed "somewhere", and you intimate that I attacked.

Therefore, as as a brother in Christ, I apologized. I did this because I realizes that I had been too harsh. If you do not forgive me, you do us both a grave injustice. Romans 12:3 calls us to maintain sober minds....please, let us.
