(Takes a bow :D) I am a perennial observer of Feb. 15th. The problem, however, is that every year the packaging keeps getting fancier, but the amount of the chocolate inside keeps decreasing. *sigh* You can't eat the box............:(

This is why I'm such a fan of Lindor's truffles. You can buy them individually, without all of that paper. When I reeeeeeeeeeeeally want awesome chocolate (2-4 times per year), I can just buy a couple of those and I'm over it without eating a whole box. :)

....or one Godiva choc covered strawberry :D It's evil how they put Godiva stores next to Victoria's Secret, huh? hahaha

2-4 times a year is how often I don't crave chocolate. o_0
 
hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I confess....I'm a bit of a health nut and chocolate isn't my weakness...it's Dr Pepper and gummybears :D
 
Im eating a big chocolate bar right now and it's not even Valentine's Day. Like a boss hahaha

And Gabe, I see what you mean. We probably all have at least a couple posts that we would've written differently now than the way we did a year ago....I often PM myself the post if I'm not sure it would be prudent to submit it; I can always publish it later.

Amen sportygirl, When you receive LOVE from the CHRIST your heart overflows even in such a way that you would even be willing to give to others. Am also like you, but let's celebrate this Valentine day with our FIRST LOVE THE CHRIST!!!! then our beloved family...GOD bless!!!!
 
I've only had one year of my life that I've ever had a valentine and this year will be my second. I've never struggled with it though because my focus has always been on God and others. It ain't no thang! Haha if you don't let it consume you (like anything else) and fill your time and thoughts with God and others then it can be a fun holiday. The chocolate is also a huge bonus. Haha
When we went to take Trey, the little boy I work with, to get a checkup type thing with his pulmonologist yesterday there were flyers on the wall telling people that they could bring valentines to the teens who are stuck in the children's hospital. Maybe doing something like that would fill your time and thoughts and change your perspective on Valentine's day. :)
 
So, you see 11 adorable stuffies. But, I see 11 women who have been through a lot. On Valentines Day, I'm going to give these things to the women of in my family. It should be a nice little surprise. (I hope so, anyway..)

Now, I'm working on some cards. Construction paper, glue stick, pink highlighter, and some personal detail to each indiviual card. Also got some chocolate for each one... I hope they see I care. xD

I too am single on Valentine's day. When I did have a boyfriends it was depressing. Just another day for them. I am gonna take my son out and probably catch a movie.
 
(fights Jullianna and Popclick over the twelfth teddy bear on the edge of Kooper's photo) Well, he SAID he only needed eleven; this one must be extra :). Although, without the handwritten card from Kooper Cutie to go with it, it's rather meaningless :(.
 
I couldn't agree with you more!!
I was really dreading Valentines Day this year because I just went through a really bad break up, but a few days ago I realized God is my first love, and He will ALWAYS be with me. He's my true Valentine. He's the ultimate man and my ultimate love! No guy can ever replace that. Truly. So this Valentine's Day I am going to spend it with my God because He's the best thing.
I'm really glad you have the same outlook on this day as well!
