Proof of God? Is there any?

Proof is everywhere for those who are curious enough. I think if you look for proof of God and want to find it and have faith you'll find it, you will. I think if you want to find proof he doesn't exist, you can find that also. Weird that way... it all boils down to you have to have faith at some point.

Pretty good opinion, no? For proof you must turn to God through Whom the Gift of Faith in God is given.

I like The cosmological argument. Where the existence of the universe is evidence enough for a Creator with the ability to create mass and energy in an intensely organized fashion.
 
Proof lies right ahead of you.

The sheer universe, the uncoverings of science should further propel us in our faith, the amount of detail and effort, the structure, the cosmos and the very atom!

On the magnetic field: Most of the information being used here is from papers by T. G. Barnes and Russell Humphreys. On this site goes over the dynamo model and doesn't even dismiss it as fitting the evidence that is presented. It simply claims that the current trend has been decreasing. This is true however it fails to mention that this strength is about average what it has been for 7000 years according to the other physical evidence if we allow the idea of an old earth (1). This means that Elsasser's dynamo model is not an inferior model to Humphreys'. Beyond that the dynamo model gives better predictions on the orientation of rocks when compared to their 'age' according to radiometric dating methods. Therefore there is not enough evidence to say that the magnetic field is going to continually decay. Beyond that, the dynamo model can be viewed as superior to Hymphreys' model because it explains more of the physical evidence and can more easily be used to make predictions.

I agree with Relena. I have proof through my faith and if you want proof I would suggest praying and asking God to show you the proof. I know if that is what you desire, He will show you. But like Relena says, depending in what you want to hear you can find proof for anything.

There is proof of the bible stories and of Jesus in or written history, so perhaps you could look into that as others have given you links. By far the best proof will be the Lord revealing it to you. :)
 
Why would you ask such a question like this? If so, its because you don't have faith in God. It all comes down to faith. If I were to give you some sort of "proof" consider looking at nature. It's all around you! For example: The trees and grass point up to God. A friend of mine mentioned that to me and thats proof enough for me right there. Otherwise you just need to pray and have faith that God is real.
 
there is no solid evidence. religion, faith are what you make of them. read the bible, get informed about modern science. this is the best way to find out. no one can give you solid proof, you have to justify it yourself. take what you have learned, and come up with your own conclusion. there is no one "correct" or "significant" piece of evidence. you've got to make your own; something that you can believe justfies the existance of god. I find that physics helps my belief more than the bible.

Paul would disagree. Christian faith is reasonable trust based on evidence.
 
If there was evidence, it wouldn't be called "faith". In fact if there were empirical evidence for the existence of any deities, it would fall into the realm of science and could be studied as such.

Equivocally, I could cite the Trojan horse of the Iliad as evidence that Achilles existed, yet both remain unconvincing arguments (in reality that is).

We all have standards in beliefs, and if we all deemed texts that have been copied, translated, and altered over the course of thousands of years as verifiable and historically accurate, then we would all be believing in many deities in addition to the Christian God (as well as numerous bronze age legends, many of whom probably never existed).

And if personal accounts were always taken to be verifiable and accurate evidence, than Bigfoot, UFOs, The Loch Ness Monster, etc., would never be brought into question. Clearly, we must use a higher standard of evidence when discerning which claims are true, and which claims are false.

You didn't read the whole thing did you?

You do know non-believers have tried to even take it to the court of law several times throughout history to try to disproof Jesus's resurrection and have failed to this very day. Jesus Christ did resurrect.

Read the site, and open your heart to God.
