Are we allowed to party at the country club? I thought we were supposed to sit still.

Naw, here in the western USA we would consider that snobbish. (I suppose we are snobbish, ourselves.)

*scoffs* Whoever would say we are snobbish is simply jealous of the luxuries we endure at their expense. Wait that came out a little snobby... uhh I like turtles.

Western Americans think of eastern Americans as being snobbish. Perhaps it is snobbish of us western Americans to think that way.

I never knew there were snobby areas of the US.. racist areas yes.. but snobby depends on the "class" of neighborhood.

The idea is that some people living on the east coast think they are better than everyone else. I suppose anywhere you go you'll find people who think they are better than everybody else.

I knew a very snobby Belgian, and I strongly suspect he lived in a snobby area.

actually I live in one, apart from the students houses, most homes here are large. And I even saw one with a pool (and trust me, that is rare here)

It's getting pretty later where you are, Astrid. I took the afternoon off, but it's about time to fix supper. (I eat early.)
