He didn't change. He changes US. We are not under the law, but under grace because of Him.

Leelee I was never talking about your relationship with Christ. All I know is what you say and what you said "you're for same-sex marriages" and God is not so then what does that say? WHICH GOD ARE YOU SERVING? You can't serve "God and Mammon". It's impossible.
Oncefallen I really apologize to Juilianna for the way I said that and everyone on this thread but I'm not apologizing for what I said. I'd just like to say in my past there was a time I read my Bible , prayed knew scriptures and looked down on others who didn't. That was horrible and because God loved me he put huge stumbling stones in my way so when I felt that I was soaring in the clouds, I fell and it made me realize that I am closer to the ground that I think. I'm really glad for those experiences.
I'm really sorry for the way I spoke. But what I told Fidelis and Leelee is the truth. Fidelis even confirmed what I told him. I just really would like to atleast try to help them I was in no way trying to finger point and attack anyone. Fidelis is an intellectual guy who wants to accept God but he's his intellect, logic and reasoning is getting in the way. Leelee probably doesn't even know that she's not on God's side because she's not living by "EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD". That's everything. God says homesxuality is wrong then we stay away from a homosexual lifestyle, we don't agree with it if someone asks then we say its wrong. Why? Cause God said so. And it doesn't matter if they call you narrow minded or a stupid lot after. That's standing for Jesus. And if you don't stand for Jesus who are you standing for? This is standard christian knowledge the worst atheist knows this.
There are very nice people who are homosexuals, I admire how caring,loving and nice they are, God loves them. But how do you expect him to help them if he doesn't tell them that what they're doing is wrong? And how do you think he tells them that what they're doing is wrong? He speaks to them and most of the time he speaks to them using us, His christians. It's the same with all us sinners. If you seee a sister in christ going the wrong way you say something about it. If you see somebody wanting Jesus you help him to Him. I judge myself by the Word of God brutally everyday, so yes I will admit I'm wrong in the way I spoke. Sorry for that.

I don't think so. I'm sure Jesus wouldn't be a part of something where two people will pledge to continue in a sinful lifestyle. And then congratulate them at the end.I agree that Christ would attend.
I think he would not only congratulate them, but he would buy them a super expensive wedding gift too, like a 55 Plasma TV.

Fidelis and leelee, I am so sorry that you have been treated so disrepectfully here. This thread is about why christianity opposes "gay marriage", not "please judge my walk with Jesus". If we share the truth of God's Word with others regarding a thing, the Holy Spirit is fully capable of doing His own job. I hope that you will not permit the personal attacks to cause you not to continue to seek what the Lord would have you learn regarding the matter. Please continue to seek more of Him. God bless you.

Yes he would attend & he would minister his truth and his love to them as He did in sitting with the "sinners" and the tax collectors. And His great will would be done in their life because He so loved them and spoke to them words of truth and did not shun them because of their sin. Thank you Lord for not shunning me because of my great sin. Its actually kinda cool to think about the wedding with Jesus present & try to fathom what he'd say & do to rectify that situation. After all He is the Lord! Would we limit Christ in this?
No worries Jullianna, I am not a "new" Christian and am pretty secure in my own walk with God, I know who I serve and the God I serve says not to judge others, so I try not to.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." Matthew 7: 1-5
There is no reason for you to apologise, even when we have disagreed you have always been very polite and respectful.
The only thing I would say is that personal attack might scare off others and that's not what God wants us to do and also would remind people to hate the sin but love the sinner, I don't mean here but in general have seen a lot of hate based homophobia, well sinning or not they still belong to God.
So overall my suggestion would be, don't try and tell me or anyone who I am serving. You know nothing about me and look at the log in your own eye pal!

Let them. If they want to do someting with their lives, who is anyone else to stop them? if no harm is being done to anyone else, then who has the right to tell them how to live? God doesn't care if it's adam and eve, or adam and steve, he really doesn't. The archbishop is backwards. In my opinion, anyone who follows the bible to the letter are backwards, and also reading it wrong.

That was before sin was introduced into the world through disobedience. Changed our environment to a sinful fallen one with the knowledge, awareness of sin and shame.

A: He has no reason, yes that's right... he doesn't bless Gay marriage and he doesn't want gay marriage.

God did not waste time repeatedly referring to the abomination of Homosexuality so people could start saying he approves of Homosexual marriage.

LOL you too, my mother said the same to me, i should be a lawyer but i said "no" lol. i also like to debate im also a person who likes to argue alot lol. ^^
gay marriage is so unnatural. it is like fish out of water. two men or two women cannot have a baby that should be enough proof.
