This whole 'God causes everything." idea causes people to become passive. How can we resist the devil if God is the one allowing everything?

Then you redefine the term "saved" along unbiblical lines.
More importantly, not everyone was "paid for".

BTW.... I am a person who has been miraculously healed of an affliction that caused the loss of my hearing for a time, as well as cancer..twice. I give all glory to God for that. But I didn't even believe when God healed my ears. The prayer for me that day was prayed by someone else when I was a teen and God healed me before I could even return to my seat. But I don't think I'm any better or have more faith than the christian who stays in the race in spite of their afflictions. Truth be told, there are times when I think perhaps they are actually stronger in some ways than I am because they can handle it. Maybe I couldn't.
