What is probably behind this mode of entertainment is personality rapport. Some believers have a rapport with others based on personalities, common demeanors and likemindedness. This has nothing to do with Christ or walking in the Spirit but rather a mode of carnality. They have a good time mocking and accusation others who they consider to be on a holy crusade. Instead of ignoring what they do not like, they make fun of it and others join in their little clique to form a party atmosphere. They take their shots and then go home. They get all puffed up and filled with this spiritual pride that others are acting foolish and instead of trying to understand why someone might be on this 'holy crusade', as they call it, they demean and berate them with sarcasm. There is no grace or edification in that, not does it build up the body of Christ. I have been guilty of this myself and have the conviction that it's just plain ugly and I don't want it nor do I want to be around it.
