Can't hear

A few weeks ago I started getting sick, but since I don't have insurance I treated it at home. It seemed to get better though it took a couple of weeks. Last Saturday I started getting sick again. I began losing my voice and by Monday it was completely gone. I literally had 2 whole notes I could almost speak on. When I couldn't eat, speak, sleep, or walk, I went to the ER. The dr gave me antibiotics and cough medicine. He said I had a virus and an ear infection. My younger brother had ear infections all the time when we were little, but Ive never had one. It's been 5 days since I began taking my antibiotics and cough medicine, but something's are getting worse. I have a cyst which will require surgical removal,, but is related to the virus. I also believe I've developed bronchitis. If I do too much I can't breathe. And lastly, I cannot hear almost at all from my right ear. If my left ear hears at 10. Mh right ear hears a 1.
Why is this a big deal? I am a musician. Voice is my primary instrument. While my range is slowly coming back, my hearing makes it very difficult. Imagine breaking your hand if you're a guitarist or pianist. Music is my lifeline. Also, I am an avid walker. I used to walking 30+ miles per week. However I can't with bronchitis.
Tomorrow I have to perform at a funeral. I need my voice.
 
Praying for your hearing and voice to be restored completely and your bronchitis go as well as any virus in your body leave :)

Dear Father in heaven, we ask that you please restore "Jordache's" health. Just like Job said, "Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." Please guide "Jordache's" to health, give her doctors the wisdom they need to heal her. We proclaim your promise from Jeremiah 33:6 "Behold, I will bring you health and cure, and I will cure you, and will reveal unto you the abundance of peace and truth" We ask for your mercy. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit we ask, Amen.
 
Update: miracle of miracles... I had no singing or speaking voice a few days ago. None whatsoever! Each day I've been testing my range to see where I fall. Thi evening I had about 5 notes of my usual healthy 2 1/2 octave range. Losing your voice for a singer is like a painter losing his arm, or dancer losing her legs. Music is my lifeline. Worse yet, as I was testing my range I noticed that I was way off almost all of the notes. That is devastating for someone with near perfect pitch. On top of that I couldnt hear. When I put my head phones on, the voices sounded off from the rest of the music. At kinship tonight I couldn't sing any of the songs... Not because it sounded bad, but because there was literally no sound. When I did song, I noticed it hurt my ears and my jaw. The group prayed for me and we finished. When I got home, I tested my range again. I miraculously gained an entered octave with a significantly better timbre than I had just a few hours ago. And I could actually hear the notes. Tomorrow I have to sing at a funeral. I cant express how it feels to have at least part of my voice back. God is doing a healing, but there is more. I still have a hard time hearing from my right ear. And singing, because of the anatomy of it, is painful or at least uncomfortable because of the vibrations it causes in my head. My eardrum is perforated so it already hurts. In addition, I have a cyst which has come about because of the the infection and bronchitis. Lastly, my asthma is exacerbated by the brochitis, so that any time I need to use lungs a little more than average (as in singing, walking a sort distance, or laughing) its hard to breathe. Anyone who sings knows. Breath support is key.

Well it sounds like you got one foot in the grave already. Before long you'll be out of your misery and they'll burry you. Quit being so negative. Think positive and don't think that you ahve this or that. Doubt that you have anything and think that you're better or at least getting better. Dear lord please heal her. Amen. Time heals
 
Excuse me Canadian. That's a little harsh. I'm pretty sure Jesus didn't invalidate people's feelings, nor did he speak with sarcasm. Time does nothing. Jesus heals. Telling people to quit complaining (especially a stranger) teaches them one thing. Never talk to that person again because they have no compassion.
