So, God had me rewrite my book, and I just wanted to share what I got so far :3

CHAPTER ONE: GOOD NEWS!!!

I thank Jesus Christ, our Lord for whoever is reading this, whether pastor, homosexual, atheist, Jew, Muslim, porn star, drug dealer, WHOEVER! Honestly, I don't care about your sin. I'm not gonna point it out, because God isn't pointing it out.

As you read this, I want you to keep your mind set on Jesus, even if you don't believe in the Lord. I firmly believe that the people who truly understand God the most are those who avoid Christians. Because they know there is more to God than what they have been told. They know Jesus isn't an angry guy, and they been turned off by the angry guy behind the pull-pit.

I got Good News for you.
Would you like to hear that Good News?

And I am talking to the non-believer here; but whether you believe in Christ or not, you're sins are no longer being held against you. You are completely forgiven. You might not be saved, but you are forgiven.

(Verse references: Hebrews 8:12-13, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Romans 4:7-8 1 Peter 3:18, Hebrews 9:28) [Study Hebrews 10]

God is not holding your sin against you, in fact, if you aren't a Christian, and another Christian pointed out your sins, (notice I didn't say sin) then they were in the wrong. The only sin the Holy Spirit convicts NON-believers of is unbelief.

They should have been telling you what I am telling you now, and what the apostles preached... They should have been telling you about Christ's finished works.

All your sin is, is a sign of unbelief. That's all.

You're forgiveness will benefit you absolutely nothing if you don't live in Christ.

I like to look at it like this; God is wearing blood covered glasses. He looks down at Earth, and all He sees is the Blood of Christ. Not that He can't see your sin, He just chooses to not hold it against you.

Now, shall we sin so grace abounds?
No. Grace empowers us to over come our sin.

Jesus Christ is the only solution. Not you changing who you are, but rather Christ changing who you are.

So if you are reading this book, and you have never accepted Christ, it's simple. Ephesians 2:8 says we are saved by grace through faith. Romans 10:9 says if you confess with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believe (put faith) in your heart that God raised Christ from the dead, you will be saved..

So if you wanna accept Christ, it's that simple. Confess, and believe. Yep, it's that simple. Any gospel making it more complicated than that isn't a gospel at all, no matter how zealous the person was for God.

You may benefit from taking a writing class.
If you are truly inspired to write, and you say God has given you the "go-ahead," then i would suggest asking Him to give you clarity, and a fluent, smooth style to the way you will bring about your "Good News!"
I am an avid reader, and I was lost just after the first few lines. This does not sound like the beginnings of a book, but rather an opinionated article, impressed by your own ideas that you are speaking as though "truth" with no real authority in some areas?

You need to arrange your thoughts more clearly. You came on soo strong soo quickly! Don't just sit and write whatever comes into your brain,..... have a CLEAR direction. Break down your ideas catgorically, so that you havent stuffed too many different ideas into just the first chapter. Make sure you can appropriate the choices of scriptures presented. You just laid them out, for what? If an unsaved person was reading this, do you assume they would go and search the scripture for themselves? I doubt it.
I felt like i was reading the thoughts of a dyslexic. Scattered thoughts.
Take this as CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Really.

One more thing. Do not ever broadcast your work in progress, for everyone to see.
You've barely started, and your sharing your work? If God has inspired this, then trust HIS opinion
on where this will take you. From chapter one to completion.

What strong said x2.

This sounds more like a tirade against Christians than sharing the gospel with people who are unfamiliar.

This part has some inaccuracies.

What a bunch of heresy and false doctrine.
Jesus was a heretic.

and you think your sins are being held against you?

the bible lied when it said you're COMPLETELY forgiven?

You're not saved by being good, if you think that, then you have fallen from Christ.

I wasn't tirading against anyone.. I was telling people about Christ. About the true Good News....

You are saved by grace through faith, it's that simple. Anything more complicated is a false gospel.

Then yours will be the shortest book ever written.

If I were you, I'd look more closely at the section jimmydiggs quoted.

Well, you'll profit from paying attention to anything he points out, actually.

If loving on each other means encouraging you to write a book full of errors and disjointed, misleading thoughts, then no.

Do you have any bible verses saying you're not saved simply by grace through faith? :) Nope.

If you think you're not simply saved by grace through faith, then you are deceived.

and if you think God is still holding your sin against you, then I guess He lied in the bible, huh? You can't accept the fact that you're COMPLETELY forgiven?
