Jesus was not a heretic.

Jesus spoke truth, not lies.

Also;

.. and I'm a proud heretic.
This much is true.

Jesus states twice who he died for in John 10.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father —and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life —only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

How many times must Jesus say it, for you to believe it?

Why are you wasting your time on this....This is not someone looking for truth. When he asks, "Show me in the bible where it says........" it is not genuine truth he seeks, he has another agenda.
My brother, "do not cast your pearls to the swine"

No. the book is actually moving into how I overcame homosexuality. :)
With the utmost respect to your struggle so far, until you've maintained a satisfying, sanctified heterosexual relationship or have lived for some decades in celibacy, there will be some reasonable skepticism that you have much to teach in this area. Not saying that you haven't done what you're claiming, but you're setting yourself up for ridicule if not simply failure.

You overcame it, did you?

Jesus was a heretic. Jimmydiggs obviously doesn't know what a heretic is. I seek truth, idc for mans opinions, only biblical truth. And I know I'm 100% forgiven.

Do you have any bible verses saying you're not saved simply by grace through faith? :) Nope.
Oy vey.

This is child logic. It's combative and self-absorbed.

I'm not disagreeing with the premise of how one goes about being saved, I'm objecting to pretty much everything else you've written. I object to how you are presenting it.

If your entire book was 'you are saved by grace through faith' and nothing more, I couldn't help but agree. However your book is not that. It's a series of backhanded insults at believers to win over a skeptical audience that quickly turns into a bombardment of scripture that holds no value, weight or authority with your stated audience.

It's bad writing. Plain and simple.

If you can't handle constructive criticism or criticism of any kind, might I suggest not posting your diary pages on a public forum and asking for input on your 'book'?

Wow, I am now going to question everything I have ever believed.
Are you kidding me ritter? I hope your being sarcastic, because if this persons logic can make you all of a sudden question what you believe, your belief system was WEAK to begin with.
He sounds so unlearned. Come on.

If you don't believe Christ died for everyone, you're wrong... If you believe the law saves you, you're wrong. Thats what Chapter One is telling ppl.. They are simply saved by grace through faith. Nothing false there ;)

God's way of making people right is by faith in Christ. You disagree? That makes me unlearned to believe that?

Idc about what my accusers say. :)
There's a difference between accusation and reasonable doubt that you've done what you've said.

Suppose, for example, that I claimed to have a diet plan that was better than all the others. I used it to lose 20 lbs safely over a period of months. Wouldn't people want to know, though, that I've managed to keep the weight off? That's not accusation - it's a reasonable concern.

Suppose I said I fixed your car. Sure, when you turn the key, it no longer makes that noise, but don't you want to see how it's doing a couple miles down the road? That's not an accusation - it's a reasonable concern.

This, however, is an accusation - your flippant responses demonstrate that, more than anything else, this is a act in service of your ego. You might have overcome homosexuality, but that's hardly the worst thing you've got going at the moment.

Hmmm I don't know where you got the idea that everyone is forgiven, including unbelievers. If we were all forgiven, we would all go to Heaven, no matter if we accept Christ or not. But in reality, only Christ is our forgiveness, you can't separate forgiveness from salvation....because God would then be an unjust God who punishes people who are already forgiven. Lets put it this way: God paid the debt with Jesus' sacrifice, but if you don't accept his payment, you will die in your debt, you are not forgiven. We die in our sins and we are judged by our sins if we don't accept Jesus' sacrifice.

That's why Jesus said this:

''That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I Am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins." John 8:24

I don't wanna sound like I'm just being a hater, but I seriously don't see that idea in the Bible. If we all had forgiveness, I wouldn't feel motivated to preach Jesus to my unbeliever friends and family.

To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43
Notice how it says that you WILL receive remission of sins, it doesn't say you already have it.
