awww Em......arghhhhhhhhh what an uncomfortable situation to find yaself in mate.....why was her family so unwelcoming?????
they sure can be. I don't think I ever loved any woman with all my heart since then.
Gather 'round and I'll tell you: Well, she came to the airport with her family. For some reason they were all glaring at me, and my lady-friend wasn't speaking to me. I went through the whole first day like this and was thinking, "Gee, I hope she's alright... I wonder what's wrong..." The next day, we ate breakfast, and then she went straight to her room... her family continued to glare at me for the rest of the day. When she came down in the evening, I asked her if she was alright... she asked me if I'd like to see a movie, and I agreed. As soon as we got in the car, she informed me that she was no longer attracted to me. Ouch. I had to sleep at their house and stay with them for 6 days... or at least it was supposed to be 6 days... but then there was a freak snowstorm and my flight was delayed by 24 hours... lol, much fun indeed. After the original 24 hour delay, there was a further 5 hour delay (which wound up being a major blessing, but that's another story...)

That sounds very Australian. Maybe I should say "eh" and the Americans could say "y'all" and the Brits could say "bloody."
Yikes Terry....yup women....pffft....sometimes I'm embarrassed to be one....Thank you for your compassion, but I was trying to relate to your experience(for lack of a better word)
of course, I guess we can show compassion to each other. And I bet you're like me in the regard that I am a 1 woman man. I only see 1 lady at a time. When that relationship is ended; then I use to try & find another lady to go out with.
