9 years ago today I was sexually abused. Knowing that I've made it this long and seeing how far I've come and how much I've grown from an angry, frightened, and inwardly dying teenager to a peaceful, thankful, and happily engaged young woman has given me a happiness that far outweighs all the hurt I endured.
God is Great! followed by (in no particular order) That I'm home for a 3 day weekend, I had fun at work, my work boots are great, I like my job, my co-workers do their job & more, my supervisors aren't annoying, I'm home, my friends are in good spirits, I bought my dad a soda at work & he really needed it, a stranger payed for my lunch, I live in a cozy town, & I feel great!
