Alone

This has been going on for a very long time
Throughout the many years
from all the suffering I have caused
I did it, I hurt them all, even my family
and I felt not a thing..
even though, even though
they were good to me, and loved me,
I was cold calculating, me
I've wondered why and how
I could do these things​

Now I understand
I understand why I push you away
because of the eternal thoughts
tormenting
me hurting you
I could see it, I could not stop it
It was like that...I couldn't
bring myself to.​

I ran from it, I ran from you
I didn't want to hurt you,
I ran and still hurt you
but at least not the
way my mind wanted to..​

I run from these things
but they are there
they are me
and I deserve everything
the world so cruel
has set a table before me
I'm afraid of what I deserve..​

I am protecting them, my family,
I am protecting you, love
I am protecting everyone​

just by being alone,
that way
I won't hurt anyone anymore​

I have to be alone
because
life is good
its not meant for me
because my past
catches up to me
and reminds me
that I am not suppose to be
happy..​

I need to be where I can't see anyone
its there inside of of me
its never left, because it is me​

I am a bad person​

just let go of the thoughts,
the stress, the pain, and worry

till everything is alright
then when you are confident
and strong
and able to handle yourself again
you can let go​

but when things go crazy and you can't handle it

I Have Dreamed of You so Much

I have dreamed of you so much that you are no longer real.
Is there still time for me to reach your breathing body, to kiss your mouth and make
your dear voice come alive again?​

I have dreamed of you so much that my arms, grown used to being crossed on my
chest as I hugged your shadow, would perhaps not bend to the shape of your body.
For faced with the real form of what has haunted me and governed me for so many
days and years, I would surely become a shadow.​

O scales of feeling.​

I have dreamed of you so much that surely there is no more time for me to wake up.
I sleep on my feet prey to all the forms of life and love, and you, the only one who
counts for me today, I can no more touch your face and lips than touch the lips and
face of some passerby.​

I have dreamed of you so much, have walked so much, talked so much, slept so much
with your phantom, that perhaps the only thing left for me is to become a phantom
among phantoms, a shadow a hundred times more shadow than the shadow the
moves and goes on moving, brightly, over the sundial of your life. ​

where you would say goodbye
and hold me tight till it stings
till I was no longer,
then I have dreamed dreams,
where I seen you sitting alone, sad
I should have came to console you..
but I was afraid, that you hated me,​

why did you come find me?
Are you protecting me?
Do you hate me...?
Why do you hold onto me?
Or am I left alone with just a ghostly memory?​
