I am like totally lost with this game...trying to follow but didn`t get the beginning

We start at 50. Girls post goes down 2 numbers (48). Guys post goes up 2 numbers (52). Guys need to get to 100, girls need to get to 0. I would say 52, then you would say 50. Another girl would say 48, another girl 46, a guy would say 48. Guys have won twice already.
