The people at churches always say that using swear words is a sin, but it doesn't make sense. Swear words do refer to crude things, but there's other words that mean the same basic things as swear words but Christians still use them.
Hi, sel, I pray all is well for you and your cats all swaddled in a blanket right now, I hope, your comforters from God
@swearing, about it, swearing allows Satan to attack us, milady, as, when we get angry and we swear we are then allowing an inroads into our life of The Devil and that is not good, as , Ephesians 4:26 reads, and,the Devil's allowance speaks quickly, simply true is 4:27.
But God is good Sel, and, His power trumped evil's long ago, on the cross, and even before, when in Revelation speaks of Lucipher, a good angel, one of God's most esteemed, took on a renouncing pride that led to Lucipher's banishment from Heaven (Rev. 12:5-9).
So swearing leads to Satan's entrance, sel, and, here is scripture that tells true that Jesus on Earth, spoke of swearing and to 'not swear at all.'
'Again you have heard it was said to those of old, ' you shall not swear falsely but shall perform your oath to the Lord. But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool....' (Matthew 5:33-34)
