I agree, gentlemen. This should fire the Church to become more bold about sharing the gospel of Christ. That's what breaks the chains of sin, not the law.

I don't know if I have any right to weigh in my opinion since I am only 17 and most will probably not respect my opinion, but I am going to say what I feel.

First of all the U.S. is not a Godly nation. We have people who worship God, but in no way are we a Godly nation as a whole. It is because of the fact we are the land of the free. We get to believe what we want and do what want as long as it remains in the confines of the law. The rest is not directly towards you iamsoandso.

I didn't read every comment, but those who are saying porn is illegal I am pretty sure that is only to minors. I am not in anyway condoning porn, but as Christians we should not be forcing what we believe onto anyone. God wants his people to come to Him on their own. If anything by the banning of porn you could be turning away people from Christianity altogether. I think that is one of the biggest problems with Christians today. They act like they do not sin. As if we all still sin the only difference is we ask for forgiveness. Also wouldn't you much rather someone watch porn than actually be out and having sex? I may not be the smartest person, but I am pretty sure that is how STDs come around. I am pretty sure the world already sees Americans as fat and lazy do you really want sex addicts to be added to their list? Once again I am not in anyway condoning porn I just think we need to think before we act.

Even though I consider myself conservative, I disagree with Santorum. Should porn continue to be regulated? Sure. BUT America is a free nation, not a theocracy.

That just means you're a traditional conservative rather than a neo-con.

Used to be conservatives were against government regulation on pretty much anything. Laissez-faire is what it was called, back in the day. Now for some reason we've got this new breed of conservatives who say "We want less government, except we want the government to tell everyone else to do exactly what we want." I thought we, as a nation, had matured beyond that point.

So now we have two parties, both of which are trying to use the government to forward their agenda. Only one of them is being honest about it.

I was just saying I wasn't sure about my right to weigh in because I have been referred to as a silly kid, told I need to respect my elders, and things of the sort. To be honest I really don't care what anyone on here or in the world thinks of my opinion because they are not the ones deciding on who gets in Heaven or not. I still like to try to be respectable though.

I'm still wondering what language employs this sort of punctuation. I am fairly well read, but I have never seen ",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," in even the most experimental of poetic structures.

Wow. It is amazing how many people think porn shouild not be illegal, when the bible clearly is against something like this.
What is more important to you people? Your constitutional rights or God's law?

What's more important to me is God's law. But that doesn't mean I think we should change the constitution to fit God's law. I can follow God's law just fine without any help from the government. And I don't want the government stepping in and deciding what may or may not be moral.

Making porn illegal will not make it go away. It will not prevent people from sinning. Keeping it legal will not encourage more people to sin. (This has been proven time and time again ... porn is no less prevalent in societies where it is illegal.) If a person is going to sin, they are going to sin, regardless of man's law OR God's law.

The purpose of man's law is to protect those who need protection: victims. Child pornography is and absolutely must remain illegal, not because of the immorality of it, but because of the victimization of it. As long as the men and women involved in porn are consenting adults, man's law has nothing to say.

The purpose of God's law is to show us how depraved we are, and how badly we need Jesus.

It is amazing how many Christians they are who haven't learned this yet.

We're not out to make laws. The point of free will is that we aren't to force our beliefs on everyone else. Rick Santorum has got the wrong idea.

you couldn't enforce it anyway. It would just be an excuse for people to deliberately break it. Fight for the right and all that.

Because forcing everyone else to conform to our beliefs is just what Jesus would have done too.
