Maybe a new christian room like people that are just coming to the lord and need advice on things going on with there lives and how to cope with them and the people that dont love the lord that come to these new christians!

As with all room suggestions, the problem is no one uses the rooms for their intentions. Mostly they remain empty, or used for personal chats. Look at the Prayer room. I rarely see people in there, and usually they aren't praying if i do see them. Or the YouEdify chat, same thing. Usually empty, and when people are there, its not for edification. So people see these rooms, go in, realize no one is there to help or pray, so they end up back in the Lounge, where there are actually people.

"YouEdify" is here essentially for this reason - perhaps not for new believers specifically. Unfortunately, Ugly is right in that many of the point and purposes of each room is seldom exercised. People pretty much exercise general chat in every room. BibleStudy room is the only one that usually gets used for it's intended purpose.

I log on from 12-4am most nights and am praying with people in the prayer room. I came for prayer one night and God tugged at my heart to pray for others. I am a prayer partner at my church and take prayer calls for ministries. There is a whole group of us there who do it, but not so much during the day I've noticed. It would be nice to see others praying there too so someone can always get prayer if they need it.

Well, then thats more recent, but in the year and a half i've been on the site that has not been the norm.

When I learn to use the chat mode of this site, I would normally be in the prayer room and if there is no one there, I just stay there and pray. Then one day someone pm me for a conversation while I was in the prayer room then I asked this person if we can go to the edify room and chat there. What I find is that if I someone pm me for a chat while in a room where there are a lot of people then we can always go to the other rooms that are free.

I have been received two pm before and it is because the person involved really needed help but does not feel free to share it with a crowd. So I am grateful for the pm mode of the chat rooms, it is able to cater for those kind of needs. At first I did not feel comfortable if someone pm me but then I realize how crucial to respond. On the other hand, it can also go the opposite direction and with God's guidance I will be able to know it soon enough and have to respond accordingly.
