All sin is a free will choice, I have talked to homosexual Christians(oxymoron) who claim God created them that way! And they ignore the hard scriptures against them to thier own demise!
If real repentance and faith was preached right from the beginning then the sorry state of Christianity wouldnt be in question as it is today.

It is important that they do repent for what they done, however Satan has planted those wicked seeds in them for a long while, and has grown into something horrible something firmly rooted in their hearts that they do feel it is natural.l Since they feel it is natural, they then think God has made them this way, although we know this not to be true. It takes a lot of prayer and time to uproot what has been planted, however God will.
That being said, it is partially a matter of real repentance and faith that caused many of the Christians to stray away, however I do believe it goes far deeper than this. I believe it is a matter of the Spiritual connection a person has with God. When he has this connection he will be able to recognize evil, and to be able to stay away from that which is wicked and closer to our Lord. Most Churches nowadays teach that you can no longer have the Holy Ghost rest in you, and that you can no longer have a conversation with God. If you do say this they will think you are crazy. However this is FAR from the truth. We know from Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus does not change, and that even today he wants us to remain close to him. However many ignore this based upon tradition, because so many value their traditional beliefs rather than Scripture. This too is a bad seed planted by Satan, so that he might be able to work in the lives of Christians that much more. Due to the lack of closeness modern day Christians have with God many are no longer able to identify wickedness as easily, causing them to be more vulnerable to sin. Yes, we have the bible, and this will help you identify sin, but there are so many different people saying that this interpretation is correct, or this one is. Making it more confusing for Christians to see the truth. Jesus sent us the Spirit of Truth, to help guide us and to help us stray away from evil. Yet because people have turned their eyes from Jesus giving Satan the opportunity to plant that bad seed, many have rejected it saying it was a thing of the past. That it can only be gained through repetitious rituals, or that only certain people can get it. Because of these lies, many are now so easily deceived, and raising there kids and teaching them the false teachings they have learned. So due to all of the bad seeds Satan has planted, we have all of the problems we do today. The Christians gave him an inch and he took a mile. So in order to fix all of the problems in the churches today, including homosexuality, we need to stop listening to these meaningless traditions and focus our eyes on Jesus and the word which God has already given us. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to be apart of the church again, to help guide us and help us seek the truth. Without this the modern day churches will only drift more and more away. Satan does not use simple little attacks against something that God made holy, but he uses brilliant strategies that may take a while but is highly effective in achieving his long term goal, which is our death.

.. disappoint them how?
If a straight guy pretends to be gay to be populair with girls (God forbid),
goes shopping with them, comments them on their clothes, goes to see chick flicks with them etc,
but admits to be really straight after a while, shouldn't that girl be the more happy?
That is... if that guy continues to pay as much attention to her as a gay guy would do.
Btw, i don't need to pretend to be gay to be populair,
i would just give the girl the attention she needs and deserves.

Just to throw this into conversation, did not read everyones responce. I was thinking about this just yesturday. Why is there a label of homosexuality? Why call a person homosexual? I believe that is where the error begins. Let's leave the labels behind, and let's look at a man as a man and a woman as a woman. When a person breaks the law of God, in any way sexual or any other than that person is guilty of sin. But the TRUTH is, if that person would stop the act as they are doing will not save them anyway. It is placing their trust in the Work of Jesus that HE died for them so that they can become a New Creature, a Child of God. Where old things have past away and all things have become new. Where THE LORD removes the OLD HEART and places a NEW HEART with HIS DESIRES in this heart. Otherwise it is just dead religion and has no power to overcome. But when that old person is dead to the old life, then they have POWER to overcome any and all sinfulness. They no longer a sinner but a saint. One separated for the purpose of GOD.
As long as people choose to persist in that certain lifestyle they are homosexuals to me.
They even insist to labeled themselves that way. Why else is there such a thing as the "Gay Pride Movement?"

Well my point is that the name homosexual is a way that either the guilty party or the ones looking to them are classifying them in a way that they are suppose to be such. Like being a certain race or something. Like they were born that way. Actually a better name would be sodomites as the Bible would suggest. My point is that even if they would turn from such a lifestyle, that would not save them anyway. I suppose what kinda throws me off is that even those in this kind of lifestyle calls themselves homosexuals, as if it is a different race of men. Some even consider themselves homosexual christians. Almost like saying a Chinese Christian, American Christian, French Christian and so forth. To me just seems strange to place a title as this. They are just people living a lifestyle of sinfulness who needs Christ. I hope I make sense.
that is very true. and besides, the guy himself should know that if he is pretending to get closer to a girl, then he is getting closer to the wrong girl. a real relationship cant be based on lies. but you know, today so many people lie and they dont really care about a real relationship because all they have is lust, not love.
The same reason we call and label a person who has had sex with a married person as an adulterer or those that have sex with unmarried people as a fornicator. The translators did not have the English word homosexual (as we do today) to describe same sex attraction and intercourse between men or between women, so instead they used the word effeminate or a description such as ' unseemly' found in (Rom 1:27) or a 'sodomite' in (Deut 23:17) or 'abusers of themselves with mankind' (1Cor 6:9), which would also fall under the heading of fornication as with male prostitutes or 'strange flesh' (Jude 7).
