We don't believe works save us.
But if what a person says and does are different.... which is it?

You believe you must keep the Sabbath on Saturday otherwise you are going to hell... is this not a work? Who said you are going to hell if you acknowledge Sunday as the Sabbath? Are you tying to control your salvation? But yet you can't do that... so you're not trusting Christ because you're looking to men and not Him?

Your religion says that you don't believe a person can be saved instantly, that it only happens at the end when they have endured... that is a work also.. because there is no focus on the blood of Jesus being all that is necessary to cleanse from sin... more that you believe there are things you need to do in order to 'come out saved in the end'. So you view this like a competition, where the best win their salvation. This is not biblical.

Just because a person is saved from the penalty of their sins does not mean they're immune to attacks from Satan. Satan persecutes Christians to take them off the path that God wants them on. Christians witness to the lost. Satan does not want anyone to know the truth. Non Christians are blind to all this because they are not saved so their eyes are not yet opened. They don't have the armor of God.

Good does come out of tribulations though as God uses them to conform us to Christ. They strengthen us, making us stronger Christians and having more love for God as we are depending on Him to help us through these times.

Never did I say we should all not keep the Sabbath, was just stating that it's important to have Christ in our lives everyday and fellowship with other believers is important, but a person is not going to hell if they don't attend church every week... it does not affect our salvation. But your religion says that you will go to hell if you fellowship on a Sunday??
Again its not about works. And by the way the real Sabbath is on Saturday. God did give us a day we don't have to make up our own. I know your going to say you can do it any day but the bible should be the guide on how to worship not man. Not that you can't fellowship on other days but we should remember the real Sabbath too because we love God and trust his word. ''Obedience'' is doing the word of God because you are saved.''legalism'' means doing things to get to heaven, there is a differences I hope you know what I mean. God bless.

We don't believe works save us.

Eph_2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Rom_10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Heb_11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Rom 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
Rom 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Rom_3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

If someone can't be lost then there is no point in Satan seeking whom he may devour.

1Pe_5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

This is a warning to Christians not the world. Faith is how we stay in Christ.

Eph_6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Faith is our armour with out it you can not stand until the end.

Please I understand your just putting your thoughts down. But Opinions are just that ''Opinions'', the bible is the only truth. Please use the bible to make your point or it dos not hold water.

Mat_24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mar_13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

The lord loves us to much to leave us the way he found us so therefore he sanctifies us. Here let peter Explain:
2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pe 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
2Pe 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
2Pe 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.[/QUOT

Wouldnt you say you just said Satan can seperate us from the Love of God? And pluck them out of Jesus hand?

Romans 8:38-39; John 10:27-28

maybe rethink and study what devour means

Devour. Literally, “gulp down,” “swallow down.” As a lion bolts the flesh of its prey, so the devil would tear his victims from the bosom of the church and swallow them up.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Paul expresses no power in heaven or earth, in time or in eternity, can separate us from the divine love. Paul does not mean by this that it is therefore impossible for a believer to fall away and be lost (see Col. 1:23; 1 Cor. 9:27). Paul means that nothing can pluck us out of Christ’s arms against our will.

thats not a way to build good doctrine...none of these verses are talking about a loss of salvation.
and you dont take just the width of a greek word alone and stretch it to to fit your point.
Theres more to it than that. Besides what you said could happen fits within so therefore contradicts Romans 8

Yes, I agree that once you're saved one of the fruits is sustained obedience. A person is not saved by being obedient. There is a difference. So why do you believe you are saved by acknowledging Saturday instead of Sunday then? I do agree that the Sabbath day was Saturday but got changed to Sunday. However, as I said in the other post, we have Christ in our lives everyday, not just one day each week.

You didn't really answer my question. Why does your religion teach that you are going to hell if you observe Sunday as the Sabbath day? You believe that a person can lose salvation by going to church on a Sunday as in your eyes it would be a sin to acknowledge Sunday instead of Saturday? Therefore you are saying that we keep ourselves from losing salvation by observing a different day, as if we acknowledge Sunday then we lose our salvation and are doomed to hell. This isn't biblical.

We do not teach your going to hell if you don't keep Saturday.

We believe if you Study the word of God with a open heart to the Holy Spirit then you will see the Sabbath was never done away with and by Obedience keep the Sabbath.

You ignored what I said. You're getting confused with the Saturdays and Sundays I mentioned.

You believe that church on Sunday sends a person to hell. You believe you must not observe Sunday??

Nope a person can keep Sunday all they want. I to go to church on Sundays with friends when i can But I do not let Sunday replace the real Sabbath I still keep it. Like I said you can fellowship any day but the Sabbath is more than just fellowship its a commandment. Act 2:46 they had fellowship every day house to house.

The bible is clear though

Mat_5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Joh_14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

We need not teach people not to keep Gods commandments only teach them to keep them. My friends come to my church also.

Rom_3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Here is what I said ^^^^ So I ask you: If Satan cant tempt anyone away from God by getting them to choose to do so then whats the point in him tempting them?

If we surrender to God everyday and every time temptation comes our way then we become servants of righteousness. We are allowing Him to work in us. Whenever temptation comes our way we have a choice to make, surrender to temptation or surrender to God.

no you don't.

Exodus 31 14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Numbers 15 32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. 33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. 35And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

if the law of the Jewish sabbath is now in force, the sanction continues, and the violation of it ought to be punished by a judge with death:

The difference between the Jewish order back then and of ours today is as regards the time of punishment and the executor of the punishment. When God was the direct ruler, He saw fit to have an immediate punishment inflicted.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Jesus was clear on how to handle people in this day. God is the one who shows punishment not us.Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Nowhere in all the Bible is the sabbath ever called the Jewish sabbath, it is always called the Sabbath of the Lord.
