Every I AM statement He made expressed His divnity, esp I AM HE, Jesus expressedly said the
samething YhWHsaid to Moses when He reveled Himself to Moses.

Christianity was not a term widely used untiill 300 yrs after Christ.

Jesus isnt of any religion, in fact He hates it,. Religion has northing to do with being Godly.

Christinty has nothing to do with worshiping Christ, Christ is a greek title for the hebrew word anointed.

We will be worshiping Him ,not His title when He returns.

Jesus accepted and never refused the praise and worship of the people. If Jesus was not God, he would not have accepted this honor.

If you don't believe Jesus was God, then perhaps you can believe that because Jesus was the Son of God, He also should be worshipped with God.

Jesus did have the opportunity to say he is God and he never did ...am going to refer you to mark (12:29 ) Jesus was asked which is the first commandment?meaning what your first believe should be...mark 12:29 he answered by saying 'Shema yisrael adonai, adonai elohenu echad...meaning hear ,o israel!the Lord is our God!The Lord is one!Jesus echoed Moses, repeating the same verses as in deuteronomy 6:4.He is saying he believes in one God as Moses.he didn't say me(jesus)and the Lord are one,but The Lord is one.And God has tons of sons in the Bible..go to isaiah 9:6.....there has been a son given to us....psalms 82:6 I said you are gods, you are all sons of the Most High, luke 3:23-38 Adam son of God,exodus 4:22Thus saith god Israel is my son even my first born,Jeremiah 31:9 I am a father to israel, and ephram is my first born, psalms 2:7 God had said onto me David thou art my son this day have i begotten thee....Now explain to me must we worship Adam,Israel and David..to name a few because they were refer to as sons of god in the bible?...and always back your facts like i did.

Did Jesus unequivocally says he was God?

The Jews certainly thought he did:
"I and the Father are one."
Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"
"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." (John 10:30-33)

When Satan tempts Jesus, Jesus answers,
Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" (Matthew 4:10)

Yet Jesus allowed people to worship him, and did not rebuke them;
Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshiped him. (John 9:38)

Yes He did Claim to be God He told His disciples He was the Father Himself.
John 14
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

Also when Thomas declared Him to be his God Jesus did not rebuke him. Matter He affirm His statement and said blessed are we that believe in Him without seeing Him in the flesh.
John 20
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

So what if the world Bible is not mentioned in Scripture. Would you prefer we use the word Scripture that is in the bible. As for Christianity,Jesus did not come to create a religion but a way back to God, and as far as what Church He belong to, we Belong to Him, He does not belong to us.
1st Corinthians 6
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's

Yes, here is another place where Christ plainly claims to be God.

Jesus did have the opportunity to say he is God and he never did ...am going to refer you to mark (12:29 )

Did you read on from that verse?

Mark 12: 29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 33And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question. 35And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David? 36For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 37David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

There is One God, and because the scriptures cannot be broken, the Jews failed to see that God in Three Person are One.

Notice how in creation, God spoke in a plural about creating man and in the singular when God created man. This is not a mistake.

Genesis 1: 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Then we have the testimony from God at Jesus' water baptism.

Matthew 3: 13Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

After His resurrection...

Matthew 28:16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Philippians 2: 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Only God can save and redeem man and thus Jesus Christ is the Saviour and God.

1 Timothy 1:paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

1 Timothy 4: 9This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 10For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 11These things command and teach.

Titus 1: 3But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; 4To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

There are incidences where Jesus proclaimed His divinity.

John 8: 53Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? 54Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. 56Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. 57Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Jesus was crucified for confessing that He is God.

Matthew 26:63But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 65Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. 66What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

Mark 14:61But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 62And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 63Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? 64Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

God has made this promise to all those that seek Him, you will find the truth. Trust the Lord to keep His promise to you in seeking the truth in the reading of God's words.

Matthew 7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

John 5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

The only way to God the Father is through God the Son.

John 14: 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Only God can save and only God can redeem. That is His glory & why we would praise Him. Amen.
