If you download the file it will tell you that Jesus is God. Jesus is never a created being as an angel. Michael means one who is like God, archangel means chief of the angels.

I had an elderly gentleman, Paul, from your faith that would come to my house every other week to bring me literature or talk about his faith. We would discuss different topics each time, and I genuinely liked this man, even though we did not agree on a lot of important doctrinal issues. He had a very deep faith, and what impressed me is that he lived it, and did not judge me because I didn't believe the same, i felt he wished to help people. When he passed away several years ago his daughter started coming to my house, and came across as judgemental, an elitist, and offended me the first day. After this i asked her not to come back. Anyone who judges with anger seems to me to be the opposite of a Christian. You seem to offer information.

Thanx for sharing, I am sorry that She was offensive, If I am honest I went through a stage in my growth were I became very judgmental. It took me some time to see what I was doing. But I praise God that he leads us all as we are able to follow.
I agree with you, judging with anger is not of God. I try to offer information to those who are curious or seeking whatever reason. I believe that we are all on a journey with Christ, growing to know Him better and in this we become more like Him as the Spirit moves on our hearts.

Well Abiding if you have a problem with me e-mail me and we can work it out other wise lets try to keep this open for the real subject. I would love to answer anything you have to ask in this tread the best way I now how to convey. Other wise I feel this is point less and only disruptive to the thread its self. This will be the last time I reply to something that is not of the nature of the thread for the sake of others reading this.
are these 'baptismal vows' taught anywhere in the Bible?

And although there seems to be something weird why we cant dialogue. I dont have a problem with you.
Why should i? Maybe you have a SDA chip on your shoulder...if so dont

Although at first i seen the joining of you and Lawoflove in this and smiled.
But im not playing tagteam here. Nor am i here to ask questions to SDA.
I merely came in and read and made a post.Really ive not that much interest

Genesis 2:7 KJV
(7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
This verse means Body + Breath of life = A soul. It would also mean Body - Breath of life = No soul.
Ezekiel 18:4 KJV
(4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Why did God make His promise to the seed of Abraham?
"Because Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws." Gen. 26:5.
And so Abraham kept the commandments, including the 7th Day Sabbath commandment.
We are to be like Abraham, God make His promise to the seed of Abraham. So we must learn the correct biblical balance of faith and works.
The Bible says:
1. Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness
2. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
James 2
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
It is the same exact thing where Seventh Day Adventists are concerned. We keep the 7th Day Sabbath just like Abraham did. We believe God and it is imputed unto us for righteousness. We also are justified by works as Abraham was. Therefore to act as if we are contradicting ourselves in believing the way that we do about faith and works is to accuse the Bible writers of contradicting themselves.
The Christian CAN do both things... keep the Sabbath, believe God and be saved by faith, yet also be justified by works. Read the entire chapter of James 2.Faith without works is dead. This is because genuine faith... works. The works are proof that you have genuine faith.
