God does, too. All of us.

He wants us to stick up for ourselves sometimes, Christ peeps, Cain was a murderer yet when God told Cain that life would be wandering. Cain said, 'Lord, people will kill me.' So God put a mark on Cain's forehead.
Cain then, a MURDERER, mind you, left to start a family, built a city even, Scripture states. :)

Do you want to live like that, singles?
When you make some grand mistake, sin, hopefully, not murder, do you want to wallow in your mistake or REPENT and ask God's forgiveness....

Do you really think God won't listen to you because your too filthy for having slept with.a guy before marriage? Is that really your God, 'for God is Love,' Scripture states. Your God conVict you of your just-done offense?

That's NOT my God and, good news for you :) , it's NOT your God either. And, hete's The best news yet of what's just been said we HAVE The same God :)

He, sometimes, wants complete and utter obedience, like Abraham, willing to follow God's will andeading up a mountain to KILL his only son. God asked Abraham to do THAT, green?

Yes, and, Abraham obeyed, and, God tested Abe's faith to the point of the knife, actually, beginning it's descent from Abe's hand down to his son, Isaac. But, God stopped The knife's thrust with an angel, grasping Abe's hand as God yelled 'Stop,' I think is how this account goes.

But, yes, we are to have great faith, like Cain, in the midst of the atrocious sin committed, God is forgiving and 100% forgetting of that sin :) Gone. Why you still got 'it,' God tossed into the deep blue sea, gone. :)

And, what about the man who was lying in the street, sick, clothes tattered, smell of sickness, even 'The priest' walked by this man. But, just a one stopped of 3 passersby. One. A nobody. A good samaritan.
Don't think the bible tells us this samaritan's reward for helping this downfallen man. Or,, wait, yes, it tells us how to 'live,' doesn't it?

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ [a] ; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii [c] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Christ peeps, I implore you, live like that ! Live like that. Mercy me! Can you only imagine a world in which we all lived...... :) That, is all Jesus asks, to live with complete Love of Him, our dear God who made us, our Spirit (Him) who guides us. Christ brothers and sisters, let's keep growing in Him all through our life ,that kind of 'growth' as lightningclap's thread speaks.

Like this, let's pray to God right now we can live like this.
Like that. :)

You said that you could let it go
and I wouldn't catch you hung up
on somebody that you used to know"
