please pray for me ok might have to go in the hospital ; it wasnt a very good wk my bff dumped me i was attacked thinking i was helping im praying for god to take me home ; all my life this has been going on ; i love all my friends ive made mistakes im human but i guess i have to be perfect ; keep me in prayer ok that god helps me wth this journey

That is why we need the Spirit to make us strong.

Shirley, are you involved locally with other Christian Believers? I would suggest get some who Love the Lord with all their lives and get involved in doing the Work of Jesus. Do all you can do to minister the LOVE OF CHRIST to others. Go to hospitals, nurshing homes, homeless and minister unto them LOVE. Draw nearer to God like never before, and see yourself as HE sees you in your created value. Do not let people determine who you are but let God determine who you are through faith in the Work of Jesus. Jesus took your old life and nailed it to the cross and NOW, you take HIS LIFE and you go forth glorifying HIM to whomever you come in contact with. He promises to empower you to overcome all evil and darkness that the devil brings not only in your life but the lives of others. KEEP EYES OF JESUS
 
Shirley, When we place other people (friends, family and even strangers) up on this imaginative pedal stool our thinking settles in our hearts and once something settles in our heart we react on it. The key here is "thinking"

Jesus was rejected every single day and then captured and crucified in a horrific, humiliating and painful way. He died for what you are experiencing right now (depression).

Here is something that might help you. Take a piece of paper and start writing down these words over and over again. I love myself, I am worthy, I was born to make a difference in someone's life. Keep writing it down and as soon as a negative thought comes to mind put a star to mark your negative thought and start over. Eventually every time you have a negative thought whether you are watching a movie or reading a book or talking to a friend you will see that star and remember what follows after that .... I love myself, I am worthy, I was born to make a difference in someone's life.

Thinking positively is hard and takes work especially if you come from an abusive family or neglect.

You also should remember that when you feel alone, just ask God to show you his presence and He will. He loves you and He is real and He cares about you. In addition, some of the most famous people in this world are lonely too. You will be ok. God Bless you

I think that all of us ever made mistake in our life, but the point is you realize that it's not correct and fixed it, don't focus with your fault but try to repair it if they can be repaired. Come to God and He will heal and embrace your heart with His abundant love. I pray for you may God healed your friendship too :)
 
Sorry for the stuff you are going through, Shirley =/ I know God can carry you through anything you are going through and I'm praying for you along with everyone else! =]

Huge hugs shirley, it is the pure of heart in Jesus, that often have their heart broken, simply because like you, they seek only to love in Jesus.
But know that Jesus is always close to you, and is your comfort, just keep calling on Him, and He will give you rest and comfort.
Remember always, being born does not mean you have to work to be loved, you were born because God loved you already.
You are in my prayers in Jesus.

Shirley, I have never told you what a blessing you are to me, and for that I ask your forgiveness. :(
I am so often blessed by what you write. I have seen spiritual growth in you over time. (if only the same could be said of me...but God is working, even in me! :) )
I don't mean to say you were not spiritual, or anything else condemnatory...far from it!
Only that the Lord is clearly at work in you, dear sister, and it shows! :)

I have taken your sorrow and your needs to our Abba. He gave us eternal life...how will he not give us all we need in this life, too, right? (Rom. 8:32)
I would bear these sorrows with you, even if it can only be crying with you, which I promise you I am doing right now.
Please hang in there--we need you! You are a part of us, a dear and beloved sister.

Just see outside that people in CC forum cheers and be with you, so you are not alone anymore, even i'm not really near with you cause of distance but you are still in my heart, thought and pray Shirley :D

I see that this post is one year old almost. I do hope all turned out okay across time. How has your perspective changed? What lessons have you learned from this experience?

I would like to know and if there are still problems an update would be great so us new members will know how to pray.....

Shirley I just want you to know i know how hard life can be life has been nothing but pain to me, my parents were very abusive they drugged me and tried to cut off my body parts i got cancer years later but the thing is life is so much more! i always found a reason to be happy because I never felt alone. I am not the least bit strong because it was god who was with me. and you are not alone either look at the caring ppl you have praying for you. If you ask me you look like a beautiful person who god is about to do amazing things with. I am not saying this just to be nice, I don't see a beaten and defeated human I see someone who has gone through a life of pain but is shining her light that god created with out even realizing it. And if anyone who says any different or says any thing harmful to you they can deal with me. I know you may not see it now but you are going to be a beacon of light into a world of darkness, The lord is going to make you so very close to him and you will be a shepherd to collect and protect the true shepherds ( Jesus) lost sheep and out of those lost sheep you will create more shepherds until the true shepherd comes back to find his flock and shepherds have increased tenfold and he will be very pleased. I don't even know you and yet my heart feels nothing but love for you as does Jesus. i have only accepted Jesus for three months and am not ready to do his work. Please try to understand how amazing you are, I wish i could see you ever day to tell how much Jesus loves you. i am sorry if this wierds you out but I feel almost like the holy spirit has taken control of me. If you ever need encouragement my cell is 405 662 6399. yes this is not something normal people do but I am not normal. I do not wish for even one of the lords children to be sad and alone. even if we cannot talk to each other i will pray for you everyday and night as I tend to pray alot. why is it that I care so much for someone I dont know? even I cannot answer that. But if this is to uncomfortable for you I understand and I won't bug you but please at least try to connect to god for his love

In which, I am sorry Shirley I misunderstood, of course you have my prayers in finding God's path through this mess!

And though I do not know the travail you are under, I do understand the pain of loss all too well. I understand all too well how much we need our Heavenly Father, to see us through to the next day, by day, by day.

He is faithful, He will pull you through this and have a better, stronger Shirley on the other side. Easy to say to lay this at His feet, harder to do and leave it there, but it is where our pain needs to be.....
