Mediate -- glad to know you have a sense of humor. Also I started this post about pointing that out

Carey -- do you know any mental illness people asking someone to expel their demon? Again I believe most of these people to not even accept Jesus as their lord and savior. They refuse to believe in demons. So why would they ask someone to get rid of their demon
I don't have bi-polar. And nowhere have I denied Jesus.

Nor do I wish to be placed in a group or stereotyped.

Mediate -- Do you accept Jesus christ as your lord and savior? Do you believe he is GOD in the flesh? DO you believe he died for your sins, Do you believe he beat death and is sitting to the fathers right hand? Did you ask him into your heart? Have you repented your sins to him?

Matthew 10:32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.

Here are a few of them

· Confusion: The suspected possessed victim may display serious confusion and a lack of awareness as to what is happening. The possessed individual may possess no knowledge whatsoever that they are possessed. Thus, bringing a possessed victim’s behaviors and actions to his or her attention may confuse or frighten him or her. Confusion can also accompany aggressive actions and behavior
sudden changes to vocabulary such as becoming abnormally profane or abusive

· sudden urges to hurt people and animals for no
· changes in normal routines : sleeping all day suddenly or complete lack of appetite, or sudden onset of gluttony

· severe constipation {I am totally serious about this, 'they' can make your colon septic and kill you this way. I personally know several people who were unable to have a bowel movement for 3 weeks during demonic attacks and very nearly died from it.}

· aversion or hatred when speaking about God or other Biblical subject matter

· Sleep Disturbances: Some possession cases have reported that the victim requires very little sleep or that he or she sleeps excessively for hours or even
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

These last two verses in particular show that denying Christ is nothing to do with denying the term 'Christian'.

At one time, even 'Pharisee' was a Holy name in the eyes of men.

Confusion can be a symtpom of many illnesses and medications. As can delirium.

ACting out of your normal behaviour is common in any given day for any person. And being called on it, is obviously, usually a shock to every person.

Wanting to hurt things is not a common symptom of mental illness. You are severely misinformed about the statistics for violence in the mentally ill.

Stress itself can cause sleep disturbance. For instance, the stress of being stereotyped and persecuted.

Insomnia is common amongst many people, not just the mentally ill.

Let me explain again because you are obviously not getting it
Mental illness is not demon possession
No true deliverance ministry will perform a what the world calls exorcism, for the simple fact it is not demonic influence, i was in the deliverance ministry, and yes people came to us saying they needed deliverance because people like you filled their heads with doubt, every single one of them were able to say Jesus is Lord, this is not possible with the demonically posessed

What came first, the law of sin and death or Jesus fulfillment of it?

But what do we follow?

D. Demons or Illness?
Physical healing was an important part of the earthly ministry of Jesus. However, Luke makes a clear distinction between physical healing and providing deliverance from demon possession, as shown in these verses.

Luke 4:40-41: "When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them. Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, 'You are the Son of God!...'"
Luke 7:21: "At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sickness and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind."
E. Demons and Epilepsy
Luke records a case where a child's demon possession caused what we would call epilepsy today. In Luke 9:39, the boy's father describes his son's symptoms:

"'A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.'"
Jesus provides the solution in verse 42:
"Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father."
F. Demons and Speech Disability
Luke also documents the case of a person who had his speech restored when he was delivered from demon possession. Luke 11:14:

"Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been dumb spoke, and the crowd was amazed."
G. Multiple Demons Possessed a Single Person
Luke records two case of persons who were possessed by multiple demons. These cases are important, also, when considering multiple personalities, reincarnation, and channeling.

Note in the first case, the number 7 in the Bible can be interpreted as numerous instead of the simple count of seven. In the second case, it's good to remember that in New Testament times, the military term legion represented 6,000 soldiers.
Luke 8:2: "...and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; ..."
Luke 8:30: "Jesus asked him, 'What is your name?' 'Legion,' he replied, because many demons had gone into him."
H. Physical Disability Caused By a Demon
In Luke 13:10-13, he documents the case of a woman who had a physical disability for eighteen years because of a demon:

"...and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her he called her forward and said to her, 'Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.' Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God."

Seriously, your just going around in circles about this, why don't you just admit this is your opinion, and you cannot possibly say they have not accepted the Lord Jesus as their Saviour, do you know the testimony of everyone diagnosed with a mental illness, of course you don't i would suggest you seek the Lord about this, and while your at it, contact any good bible based deliverance ministry and question them about it. I have told you the truth, and you are obviously unwilling to hear it

Ok. I'll bite just because you are so convicted.

Let's say this is demon possession.

Then tell me, why does medication remove the problem for me?

To say something like this, is to say my salvation is not true, i would be very careful, you are in danger of stepping on thin ice. The Holy Spirit and demons cannot reside in the same temple

Mediate -- It could be for several reasons.

1. Maybe the Demon wants a fix. They like the meds because it allows them to relax. Remember they are going to the lake of fire.

2. Maybe the meds numb the person so bad that the demon can't have any fun.

3. Maybe the meds have the person exactly where satan wants them.

Carey -- Again I started off asking if bipolar people accepted Jesus before or after they were found out to have this. Also Satan temted Jesus so just because the demon can't over take your body doesn't mean he can't whisper in your ear.
