You may be stagnant because you're building muscle. Muscle is more compact than fat, so it's harder to tell when we put it on. Also, water weight changes quickly. It's best to weigh yourself first thing in the morning, and it you're using an electronic scale, be sure that it is kept in a room with a constant temperature. Some tips I could share with you for weightloss and maintenance:
Use smaller plates. It makes it appear that there is more on your plate and it won't feel as restrictive.
Replace sides or snacks with fruits/veg. Especially apples! They're made up with a high water content which makes you feel fuller. Try eating an apple before supper.
Water. Most of us don't get enough water in a day. As a matter of fact, some people believe that when we have cravings, we actually need water! Thirst is not the first sign of dehydration. We do not need to drink 2 gallons of water however; some of that water should come from the foods we eat, like tomatoes or melons.
Cravings can really burn a hole in your progress too. Try a strong mouth wash or chewing on gum. The gum trick works great for restaurants so you aren't picking things off your plate after you've already had your fill.
Think of food as fuel. Food gives you energy to do all the things you like doing. There's good quality fuel that burns clean, and there's also the stuff that still gives you energy, but it quits on you and causes you to crash. Once you start seeing the differences between the two, it makes healthier alternatives more attractive.
I'll be praying for you! Keep us updated and feel free to ask us any questions
