Here is a picture of what a 'feotus' looks like at 12 weeks. It made me cry.

I didnt create this thread for arguments sake. I created it so each person could look at the picture and form their own opinion without it being attacked. Everyone is different. So please, out of respect, dont turn this into an argument.

This is more an exercise in self than an exercise in others viewpoints.

Okay, I am not trying to start an argument, Mediate, but that picture is altered or something. This is a 12 week old foetus (British spelling just for you! )

The other picture seems to have taken a picture of a newborn, and digitally reduced it in size to fit in the palm of a hand. It was very well done, I might add.

Jim, what if I told you you were both right in how a 12 week old fetus looks like? The fact is the first pic is out of the womb, while the 2nd is still in the womb. If you look at some of the 3D ultra sounds, a lot of images at 12 weeks looks very much like the above baby. However, if you don't include the 3D, it's harder to get a better glimpse, simply because of the amniotic fluid. So, it' quite possible that Mediate has an accurate photo.

Also look at the tiny child's fingers on the right hand.

Seems the tinier they are the bigger an effect they have!

Wether real or not, the 12 week ultrasound showed my daughter sucking her thumb and she did not like the ultrasound.
She kept moving away from it.
The one thing that is not discussed, is that they do know pain at this age.
Just something to think about.

I detest the word "fetus", however it's spelled.
It's just an attempt to de-humanize the child, IMO.

The photo's a fake. The skin (particularly the eyelids) gives it away, however the size and proportions are still accurate, though a little advanced in the development.

Unfortunately the fetus in the picture that started this thread is nothing more than a sculpture.

I had once seen the unborn baby which was aborted ,may be after 3 months .It breaks my heart every time I remember that moment.It was a baby girl ,she was lovely .Her skin was very pink .Its sad that abortions are permitted in our society.
