Hello Shirley, continue in prayer and reading the word. Put on gentle worship music everyday so that your thoughts are centered on Christ. I understand what it is like to be lonely. I do not have real friends, only superficial ones. My only real friend is Jesus and only in His strength that I'm able to face each day. Put your trust in Jesus and rest in Him.

I'm praying as well Shirley. It's real important to keep your mind on God, especially against suicidal thoughts. You are the righteousness of God, so be thankful

May you lift her spirit Lord from the mire to help her with the depression that she is battling and fill her heart with your presence so she may feel the love you have for her. We ask Father that you give her guidance when she is tempted, give her strength when she battles her thoughts, and touch her in such a way that she knows she has not lost her way. May you bring Godly friends into her life to have fellowship with. Godly friends that will pray for and with her. And Godly friends that will bring words of wisdom to her. We also ask Father that you will help her to understand who she is and how she may live a life according to your will.

Please, please, never let suicidal ideation (the medical term for thinking about killing one's self) be given food and water in your mind.
Choke it off---take those thoughts captive in Christ and lock them away in prison where they can't get out.
And always, always call the suicide hotline if you feel particularly desperate. While the people there may not know Jesus, they are trained for this sort of thing, and they can and will help you in love. I know often at night dark thoughts are hard to fight.
And remember that you are never, no never alone! Your Jesus is always with you, and I am here for you, if ever you want to talk, I would be so honored.
