Has a heart for God
Has integrity towards God
Theres nothing I can imagine sweeter then to hear The words of God rolling off the tongue of the man I love... And using his voice to do it..I can't imagine a more precious gift !! Haven't had that happen yet but believing God it will!!
his actions speak as well as his words
guards his gates
Honest when scared
Does his best when nobody's watching
Is the same behind closed doors as he is outside them
Can find humor in the middle of frustration or humor after it
Isn't prideful in his weakness
Will try even if he fails
Can cry
Knows his weaknesses as well as his strengths
Likes to play
Discovers something new
Attempt to succeed and laugh at failure together while learning from it
I'm pretty laid back ... Wherever we go is a together effort
Whatever we fail in we learn from it
whatever the problem / find the solution to it / not dwell on The problem
Yeah. Those are pretty much The things That make me go aww

What makes him go awww is what I find important :)

lil_christian that story is soooo sweet :) what a gentleman!

As mentioned before by others seeing an elderly couple still madly in love after years of marriage makes me go awwwwww! or seeing a dude play with or pay attention to a baby/child... Something about that makes my heart melt a little :) Or giving his jacket/coat to a lady.. little gestures like that show he is paying attention to little things in my opinion.

Others have mentioned it, but it's great when a guy acts like a gentleman, even if it's a stranger opening a door for me :). I still remember the last stranger who did such a thing. HEY!! Idea! Guys, Jullianna is right; it's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. Let's get more "AWWW"s this way: say something nice to someone here, or something. Here, I'll start: a big hug to all the guys here who try to protect the girls in the chat room from creepers (to anyone who doesn't know, plenty of weirdos join. We're supposed to report the bad ones; there's really no easy way to keep the bad ones away without them first being bad; then they get banned). I'm not sure if I should name any names or not, as we really aren't supposed to gossip about others and I don't want it to sound like the guys who warned the girls did that. Anyway, thanks guys! Some of the girls know that not all of you are creepy =D!

Perhaps because it makes some people feel vulnerable and perhaps a little bit embarrassed to admit something they go "awwww" over in another adult person. The ack thread is more aloof and "safe" :D lol

It can also be hard to think of things to relate to that expression. We have those moments where we're really happy, inspired, or heart-warmed at seeing something, but if you'll refer to the videos I posted in another thread *Jullianna* *coughs*, you'll notice that most men aren't really that detail oriented. We probably have more, but can't really think of them.

Apart from that, there's a completely different variation of 'aww' when someone says something mean, sad, ext...and this is the version which comes from my lips more frequently in life.

Friend 1: Sometimes it's like I don't have any friends...

Friend 2: You have friends?

Friend 1: *sad face*

Me: Aww, don't say that! *sings 'You've got a friend in me'*

Although it's not necessary for a man to do that for me, I always appreciate not having to get my hand all germy from touching a public door handle. :p
So I agree!

I hold doors open all for people (ladies especially) all the time as a small act of chivalry, and the most I've ever gotten is a 'thank you'.

(Not that I do it for the response...)

...so I think this whole 'aww' thing is internal, and you don't actually say 'aww' in these moments!! *points fingers* =p

You've caught me. :D

I say thanks and silently appreciate the gesture. No verbal "awww" is uttered. :p:p:p

We may not always say it, but we often think it, and thank you with a smile is what comes out :)

I always say thanks but, true, I never say "awe"... But wouldn't the gentleman be a little surprised if we would? :)

Yes, we would be plesently surprised, but thank you all for validating my point.

Like I said in my first reply to this thread, I don't saw 'aww...' often, but do experience those moments.

Yeah, my 'awww' moment, is all sad really, is when I have to go somewhere and, like summer a lot time i can't leave my girl in the hot car so she stays home and whenever she knows she's not going, her face, literally, downturns, and, her tail goes down completely. :(
