Never been healed and do not believe in these near death experiences of people dying and going to heaven or hell and coming back. I tend to avoid them at all costs.

I had in eyelash healed from my eye? idk if you wanna call that awesome but i had an eyelash in my eye like ALL service and afterwards my leader prayed for it. "jokingly" but it was GONE! BOOM!!!. >_<
i've also seem demon possesed people being delivered. its scary if you're not ready for it. but it made me mad more then anything that demons would attack a child of God so we cast them out.
my youth pastor had a died and gone to hell experiance. if you wanna look her up her name is jennifer perez. shes married now so her last name is gerhard now but it happened when she was fifteen so its usually under that name. they have it in english and spanish. ^_^

I have read quite a few NDE's by people who are living for Christ wholly now, regardless if they were not prior to the experience..........curious as to why you do not believe in these experiences, and what reason you think anyone would have to "dream' up such a story?

I'd love to respond more fully, but if I covered even a part of it, it would be too long for people to read. My life has pretty much depended on God's healing presence, miracles abound. When I got saved, I was in heaven with God, and most of my life, I can go pretty much whenever I want for a few minutes.
And aquagirl, I've done my share of deliverances.
I was almost afraid to write this, lest you think that I am doing anything but trying to give glory to God for all He has done. Middle ages spiritual theology says we get such experiences not because we are special, but because we are so needy through our lack of faith. Maybe not having had so many is better?

Amazing how these people all manage to miss judgment.
Also, when John received visions of Heaven he was told NOT to tell of certain things he saw, yet these 'nde' people see everything are God freely allows them to share everything. Why would God put those restrictions on John, but not on anyone else?
I see no biblical backing for this concept. To me it fits in with gold dust, oil, diamonds, holy laughter and the like.

Yeah remember"he" was told, Paul talked briefly about his experience, And some of these people that have had these experience, have been told to tell the world. I think now people need these testamonies, to have reverence for God, and help them believe that there is life after death. Lets say someone dies and goes and stays in hell, wouldnt theyd wish theyd had believed and listened to these testamonies.

Show me the biblical backing for this then.
Isn't that just people looking for signs and wonders? Jesus criticized people for wanting signs and wonders as evidence. People were dying and going to hell 2000 years ago, just as they are now, so why would God not feel the need to save those people with these 'evidences' but now He suddenly does? Are the people 2000 years ago not as good as we are today that we get some special privilege that they didn't deserve? That God now thinks expecting signs and wonders is ok, but back then it was wrong?

I agree with you brother, we shouldnt be looking for signs and wonders. And if it looked like I was looking for evidence, then I regret it. I believe, i just wanted to speak of something positive to build peoples faith.

I have experienced God's healing.
Last year, I started to get a painful joint problem at the base of my middle finger. It came on gradually and I started to get a small painful hard lump develop.
Everytime I banged it or grabbed hold of a file which jarred it, it really hurt for a few moments after.
At first I thought it would just go away by itself, but it didn't and I could feel this hard lump starting to get bigger, it felt like my joint was swelling up and getting worse.
After about a month, i thought that maybe I should go to the doctors as it was not going away. My job involves a lot of computer work so it was a concern.
Then I saw a programme on TV about healing and claming your healing in the name of Jesus, praying in faith and I thought, I would try it.
So I prayed specifically that this lump/joint problem was healed in the name of Jesus and I said it out loud, I spoke scrupture over it and decided right there and then that I was healed.
Well then I just got on with life and decided that I was not even going to think about it any more because I was healed.
About 3 days later, I realised that the lump was no longer there!!!
I kept feelling my hand and the pain had gone also!!! It has not come back!!!
That's what happened - believe what you will I chose to believe I was healed.

A friend of mine, had stage 4 Hodgkin's Disease and stopped treatment because she was told it wasn't helping anymore. God healed her completely. It was a miracle and a huge witness to her family, doctors and nurses. It's amazing how the Lord uses these miracles in people's lives. I don't think we can even fully imagine to what extent He does use them.

1. Visited Heaven one night when I went to sleep, cant remember it but God allowed me to remember that I was there for when I woke up I had the lingering traces of a love so heavenly and pure still surrounding me, was so beyond awesome.
2. A heavenly hand rested on my left shoulder preventing me from falling backwards down a flight of stairs.
3. I know God sent an angle to me when I was on a lost and broken path leading me back to Him on Orcas Island. This angle was a voice out of nowhere that told me I was to pretty to walk looking at the ground. I looked up and there stood this black man. We then sat (it was so strange because it was almost as if he was a long lost friend & safe) and talked about God for a long time. He told me he was a warrior for God that was preparing for the coming battle. He walked me to the gas station in front of our house and I never seen Him again. What running into Him did do was keep me from buying that bottle of whiskey that I had gone into town for.
4. God hid me from the view of two men that had followed me with bad intentions.
5. God has healed the infection in my mouth so many times when I beg him for His help. He has also healed my back when I threw it out. I will never remember that because the thought came to mind "will you still trust me if I do not heal you" which had me searching deep and I remember whispering up "yes I will still trust you and accept your will", the next day my back was completely healed. Belief, he rewards belief big.
so so so many more things have happened in my life to where something spiritual happens that the number of them is to big to remember everything. God is NOT quiet when you seek Him and become really really close to Him. He becomes more and more and more a part of your day to where you pretty much worship Him all day long because it becomes a state of being and He doesn't let go of you. Our God is a jealous God and His eyes search to and fro looking for the ones that believe in Him 100% and he reveals Himself to those of His children to where spiritual events just become a part of your life.
He talks to me often. The other morning I woke up there was a song playing in my head that I really liked but I knew I had to delete it so I did without a seconds hesitation. Another morning I woke up and I swear it was like He took this visual picture of the trust I have for Him and He showed it to me. He has a loud NO. When you are not suppose to do something I swear I can hear the word NO echo inside of my soul lol. Its more of a doom and gloom feeling.

ahhhh you gotta remember you can't stick God in a box and expect Him to act accordingly. He is God. A soul could very well go to Heaven and ask Him to please let them stay on earth for a little while longer and He being our merciful loving God....who says He wouldn't do that ya know?

Yes, God heals me all the time. God healed from pain in the joints of my shoulders, ankles, and knees. When I feel something is wrong with me I lay my hand on that body part and pray for healing. That's worked for me for many years. I've laid hands on a couple of people who told me that they experianced a healing, only when led by the Holy Spirit.

I don't know what else to call this other than "miraculous"...
When our (now 27 yo) second born daughter was 11 months old, one of her breasts began to develop.
I showed a friend who had a 4 yr nursing degree, and she said, let's go to the pediatrician NOW.
Blood tests were done which showed an enzyme made in the liver elevated over 15 times the norm.
The doc said, let's draw blood and perform the test again, since it could be lab error.
But the enzyme was even more elevated.
The pediatrician said she had hoped for 'just' early puberty (yep--I guess it can happen to very little girls), but she was now convinced that our baby either had a brain tumor or terminal liver disease.
I was 5 months pregnant for our third, and couldn't go in for the dozens of x-rays they did on her. (they were negative)
And it freaked me out that our daughter's doctor called every day (including weekends!) asking how I was doing!
The docs expected our little girl to die, but the Lord had other plans. Our church prayed, and got lots of other churches involved. We saw specialists at the nearest tertiary care hospital, and they all made the same prognosis---terminal liver disease.
A month after this began, the blood test was re-run, and it was normal.
One week after that, the test was done again (for the ump-teenth time), and it was normal.
We saw a pediatric endocrinoligist (at a teacing hospital) who called about 15 residents in to "look at her gorgeous skin! There can't be anything wrong with this baby!"
I don't know what happened, other than the Lord healed our daughter. ♥ The docs all said, "we don't like to say 'miracle', but..."
btw--when we told her that story when she was 4, she looked at us through those huge brown eyes and asked, "Did I die?" LOL
