Because the two witness aren't two literal people. That's why! They are the two witnesses against ancient Jerusalem which are the Prophets and Law, that testify against her for her apostasy through out her life leading up to and killing their messiah. These two witness do have representatives tho, Elijah and Moses as the head representatives of the prophets and law. See, God judged Jerusalem/Israel according to OT law and in order to put her to death in 70AD, and God used these two witnesses to condemn her.

Harlot
(1.) Heb. zonah (Gen. 34:31; 38:15). In verses 21, 22 the Hebrew
word used in _kedeshah_, i.e., a woman consecrated or devoted to
prostitution in connection with the abominable worship of
Asherah or Astarte, the Syrian Venus. This word is also used in
Deut. 23:17; Hos. 4:14. Thus Tamar sat by the wayside as a
consecrated kedeshah.
It has been attempted to show that Rahab, usually called a
"harlot" (Josh. 2:1; 6:17; Heb. 11:31; James 2:25), was only an
innkeeper. This interpretation, however, cannot be maintained.
Jephthah's mother is called a "strange woman" (Judg. 11:2).
This, however, merely denotes that she was of foreign
extraction.
In the time of Solomon harlots appeared openly in the streets,
and he solemnly warns against association with them (Prov. 7:12;

Babylon is false religion. Will be headed by antichrist. Not a country, not any one group., all the people will get on board, very soon. Daniel stoke about this. That the daily sacrifice ( Holy Communion ) will be stop, because instead of talking it to Christ, they will be giving it to Satan. that is the Babylon, and the whole world is going to participate. are you ?

Please using the bible, show me where City means anything other then city except when the talks of the new Jerusalem, the heavenly city, the city of God, the new heavens and new earth?
I'm not saying that their maybe a spiritual and future significance of this, but that would be pure speculation on my part. For the word of God, to my knowledge, never calls a institution (NWO), or organization (Catholic Church), a city.
Not only that, but look further into Revelation 18
Revelation 18:20
20 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”
Where did the apostles and prophets speak out from and against? and who killed them? There are not more apostles and prophets in the same sense after Christ Hebrews 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, Who did the Son literally speak to, His apostles whom He has chosen, in which we get His Word.
Why did God tell them to rejoice, who where in heaven (soul sleep is bunch of junk doctrine) because they were killed for witness for Christ except for John who was left to record these things. And God avenged their blood, in which the harlot, ancient Jerusalem, was responsible for! These are the very saints that John saw beheaded for their faith and witness, God answered their prayer in Revelation 6:9-10 when they cried out "9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.“How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth (Land)?” (the same Greek word used for earth is also used for land). This is exactly what Jesus told them to pray for in Matthew 21:21, that so many Christians brutalize IMO,
21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree (represents Jerusalem), but also if you say to this mountain (what used to be God's place of protection, and holy mountain), ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea (Hell, or a place of wickedness),’ it will be done. 22And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Christians don't understand the spiritual significance of this prayer, and automatically make it out to be a false "word of faith" doctrine, weak faith vs strong faith. Also see Psa 54:5.
Revelation 18:23
23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore (the lamp of God was given to the Jerusalem, see Jeremiah 25:10), and the voice of bridegroom (Israel/Jerusalem was the voice of the bridegroom, see Jeremiah 25:10) and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness,the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.
Granted, Jeremiah is speaking of the coming Babylonian captivity. But John is taking these passages from Jeremiah and the 1st destruction of Jerusalem and applying the same language used in Jeremiah and applying it to 70AD. Notice John adds to His revelation "shall not shine in you anymore", the lamp is put out permanently meaning Jerusalem is no long God's lampstand to the world, as opposed to Jeremiah's account, Jeremiah doesn't say the lamp is put out permanently.

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth(Land -G1093- again, the same Greek word used for earth is used for land).” No institution/organization today has the blood of the prophets on them, for after the Prophets God spoke through His son!- Hebrews 1:1

Please using the bible, show me where City means anything other then city except when the talks of the new Jerusalem, the heavenly city, the city of God, the new heavens and new earth?
I'm not saying that their maybe a spiritual and future significance of this, but that would be pure speculation on my part. For the word of God, to my knowledge, never calls a institution (NWO), or organization (Catholic Church), a city.

Granted, Jeremiah is speaking of the coming Babylonian captivity. But John is taking these passages from Jeremiah and the 1st destruction of Jerusalem and applying the same language used in Jeremiah and applying it to 70AD. Notice John adds to His revelation "shall not shine in you anymore", the lamp is put out permanently meaning Jerusalem is no long God's lampstand to the world, as opposed to Jeremiah's account, Jeremiah doesn't say the lamp is put out permanently.

Because the two witness aren't two literal people. That's why! They are the two witnesses against ancient Jerusalem which are the Prophets and Law, that testify against her for her apostasy through out her life leading up to and killing their messiah. These two witness do have representatives tho, Elijah and Moses as the head representatives of the prophets and law. See, God judged Jerusalem/Israel according to OT law and in order to put her to death in 70AD, and God used these two witnesses to condemn her.

Those things were all fulfilled at the Coming of Jesus, and people continue to convert daily around the world, including jews.
God did keep His promise to preserve a remnant. Paul specifically mentioned it.

I'll ask you the same question I asked Katyfollower - If what you say is true, what is the fate of the millions of jews who died in their sin and unbelief (blindness/cut-off) - if they are all israel, and all israel will be saved, faithful or not, will they all be resurrected to eternal life? On what basis?

God did keep His promise to preserve a remnant. Paul specifically mentioned it.
In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice. - Romans 11
In the same way He reserved 7000 in Elijah's day, He reserved a remnant in Paul's day. Paul was among them.
