Yes vote for biblical vales and screw other peoples equal rights...seems logical. Lol even better Billy Graham listed mormonism as a cult until recently...I wonder if that was a political decision there...Also on Thursday, news reports spotlighted the recent removal of a reference to Mormonism as a cult from the website of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
In a section of the website called Billy Graham's "My Answer," there had been the question, "What is a cult?" The answer was, "A cult is any group which teaches doctrines or beliefs that deviate from the biblical message of the Christian faith," according to CNN.com.
"Some of these groups are Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, the Unification Church, Unitarians, Spiritualists, Scientologists, and others," the answer continued.
The removal came after the New Civil Rights Movement, a homosexual advocacy group, reported that the cult reference remained online even after Graham met with Romney last week in his Montreat, N.C., home and "all but endorsed" the Republican for president, according to Religion News Service.
The last thing we need are any of these conservative types getting anywhere near a public office.
I say AMEN to this. We have to press forward standing for what we know in our heart is good and true. We need to come together in prayer and know that whomever wins, we have done our part in the process. We must also remember that Our God is in control no matter who wins. HIS will is NOT always OUR will, and his Purpose is often beyond our understanding. We need to pray the Lord has mercy on our country for all the evil that is here, but we must also pray that his will be done.
AMEN Patticakes thank you for Sharing..... I love Billy Graham![]()
You want equal rights isn't it equal for people to have freedom of religion? Anyways I Loved the Article. Gbu
Freedom of religion doesnt mean you get to freely force your religious beliefs on others. I have no problem with people haivng their beliefs. Just dont force them on others.
I don't see Romney focing being a Morman on anyone.
No but forcing religious concepts like man/woman marriage and pro-life which are both ideas solely based on religious texts is forcing people to follow religious rules from something they may not even believe. Same concept as if a Muslim were elected president and tried to force burkas on women.
I don't want the Goverment forcing Prochoice nor Gay Rights on me. That would be the same. If I choose to vote according to Biblical Principals that is my Freedom of Religion.
But they aren't forcing gay rights on you, nothing forces you to be involved in anything gay oriented. Its simply extending the legal benefits of marriage(which arent biblically based in the first place) to all people. I mean lets be honest nothing in the bible has anything to deal with married couples geting tax breaks or legal policies involving next of kin, or hospital policies of visitation. Yet all of these are included in legalistic parts of mariage per the government already being involved.
Also no one is forcing you to get an abortion they are just providing that option to others who may want it. So you arent being forced into being prochoice either.
Neither of these issues actually afect you in either way but rather give a secular population non-religious options for their life. Your christianity is actually unaffected, so I must say I am confused as to how allowing these freedoms to those who want them would infringe on you at all.
capitalization deals with laziness, bad spelling with a lack of knowledge
Good job Nauti baby, only three words spelled wrong! This is fun, I could do this all day!![]()

Funny how my attitude is somehow detrimental because I don't follow the stats quo of the religious right and the other forces that make up a majority of this site. I guess people who are democratic, mainline protestant(aka not strict literalists), and people who dont suck up, dont fit your opinion of what belongs here.
Not that your opinion is really all that important to me. Ive seen your type before, its nothing I havent dealt with before.
