my family went to a restruant where they served those, my brother was 7 at the time...he loved them! my other brother who was nine and me who was eleven were disgusted!!!! i was the one who came up with the brilliant idea of keeping the shells...they were really pretty once they were washed, not like a garden snails'. they looked more oceany.

p.s. "ick" was my word ;)
