Sorry to be a simpleton, but please expand on your question my friend.

What do you seek to ask?[/
My apology I'm trying to stay awake here at work

How can we worship The Lord's birth in spirit and truth everyday or any day when we know not what day?

The spirit should have told the apostles his birthdate
Herod did not know
The wise men did not know

Should we ask in spirit a out something that is not meaning to be known?

Read Jeremiah 10 and see what what was celebrated way before Jesus came on the scene in the flesh
I noticed that too yes, customs and traditions are still evident...

not sure if it is true, but the christmas tree is symbolizing Eve eating the fruit and the illuminations etc.... not sure but i see how the tree is pyramid like...

We must remember that some see the devil helping Adam and Eve escape and celebrate her eating the fruit..
The decorations on the tree.

I really do not know for sure, but i know their is an evil Rebellion going on.

I do not seek to condemn any one, and learnt many moons ago that i should not enforce my beliefs upon another family member.

We each have our own relationship, i seek to be a doer not a judge.

You know me well and i hope you knew this already my friend, if not i will consider my behaviour to make sure i do not become a " do as i do type"
You are not condemning we sharing our knowledge of God

I respect the fact that you understand the importance of paganism

Peace in Jesus

If we accept him into our hearts to be reconciled with Yahvah God then in Spirit and Truth each and every day we celebrate it.

I don't mean by way of "tradition" no... we give Glory to Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah every day if we worship in Spirit and Truth.

Take a look at Jeremiah 10

Notice this is years before Jesus came on the flesh
This day where a tree was decorated was around and notice what The Lord said

Jeremiah 10:1-2 (KJV)
Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: [2] Thus saith the Lord , Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Learn not the way of the heathen ( nations)

Is this not a direct command from The Lord?

What is this day that the nations were doing then and we do now?

People understand this is not condemning w are reading the word of God

Now read this to me from God's word? The first part of your post the birth death and resurrection part.

Well, I'll be celebrating on Christmas in remeberence of the birth of Christ...now one says it was the 25th of Dec. People for some reason just assume that.

So we do not celebrate 'Christmas' per se, but it's the day we remember the birth of Jesus and may we remember it with great joy.

If Jesus is the reason for the season, then why didn't He let us know when to celebrate his birth? We claim we love Jesus so much but why don't we observe his death as he commanded us.

Luke 22:19, "And he took bread, and gave thanks, and break it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me."

Jesus said remember his death not his birth

Keep this in mind!

Who told you to do this?

Jesus
The apostles
Herod
The wise men
Your denomination
Your pastor
Your parents

Who told you to do this ?

A christmas tree cannot destroy the work of God.
Go back an read Jeremiah 10 again and do what The Lord said in the 2nd verses

Jeremiah 10:2 (KJV)
Thus saith the Lord , Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Learn not the way of the nations.

Open up your mind and tea what it says

He was born, he died and raised again my friend.

All those things you will find in the Bible.

I consider my use of "resurrection" may of been better"raised".
Ok
What day did The Lord himself tell you to remember and do it for him

Was it his birth?
Was it his death
Was it his resurrection?
I will give the verse again

Luke 22:19-20 (KJV)
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it , and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. [20] Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Lets get another witness

1 Corinthians 11:23-25 (KJV)
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: [24] And when he had given thanks, he brake it , and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it , in remembrance of me.

What day are we suppose to remember?
Lets use the word of God and not our own understanding

The birth of Jesus the Christ was assigned the date of December 25th, because on this day, as the sun began its return to the northern skies, the pagan devotees of Mithra (the Persian's Sun God) celebrated the dies natalis Solis Invicti (birthday of the invincible sun).

The history book a Pictorial History of the Italian People states, "Saint Gregory was repelled by Graeco-Roman civilization and, paradoxically, did more than anyone else to facilitate the absorption of pagan residues into Italian Christianity.

Through that process of absorption, any paganism hostile to Christianity remaining in Italian rural communities faded away".

Are we now discussing Passover?

The simple fact is that, as more and more people from throughout the Western Roman Empire became converted to an increasingly popular Christianity, they brought many of their favorite customs with them

. "The pagan [winter festivals of the] Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence... The pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit or in manner... Christians of Mesopotamia accused their western brethren of idolatry and sun-worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival.

Yet the festival rapidly gained acceptance and became at last so firmly entrenched that even the Protestant revolution of the sixteenth century was not able to dislodge it..." (The New Schaff- Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, Volume III, article "Christmas.")

You don't have to condemn anyone whoa you should do is tell the truth. They should be give. At least the truth so they can decide.
Listen young man, Paul teaches quite clearly that if one man holds one day over another in good conscience in the sight of Yahweh, it is not a sin.

He teaches if one does not hold that same day over others in good conscience in the sight of Yahweh, it too is not a sin.

That is the Truth.

Now, if you do not believe Paul is a teacher sent by Yahweh, this would be your belief, but while people worship Yahweh in reading and learning from Paul, you have no place whatsoever in telling me or anyone else to "tell the truth." It seems your distorted view of the Word is what you believe all should believe. Yahweh comes to each as is needed, and you cannot change this.

As concerning Paul, and what he teaches, there is a brother in the room who is authoritative on the subject. If you would like to learn from him, I will be only too happy to forward his screen name in an email.

In the meantime, when you do not understand one word being posted by the Family in Yeshua, it is best you refrain from calling them liars.

But it's you who are dismayed at them beloved. You teach that we have to go to church on saturday and of literal feasts that are simply traditions based off of days and signs.
I used to believe as you do, but I have since even put down that imagination of my mind.
In all of life, in whatever we do or do not, even unto death we do to the Lord.

Even Kwanza, founded 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, which people are starting to celebrate and mingle into the church is based on the Nguzo Saba (seven guiding principles), one for each day of the observance, and is celebrated from December 26th to January 1st.

A Kinara (candle holder); Mkeka (placemat preferably made of straw); Mazao (crops, i.e., fruits and vegetables); Vibunzi (ears of corn to reflect the number of children in the household); Kikombe cha umoja (communal unity cup); Mishumaa saba (seven candles, one black, three red, and three green); and Zawadi (gifts that are enriching).

Its focus is said to be on these traditional African values.

It's been said that Kwanza is a time of reaffirming African- American people, their ancestors and culture. Kwanzaa, means "first fruits of the harvest" in the African language Kiswahili.

But the Lord has a harvest festival called the Feast of the Tabernacles. Why don't African-Americans, as well as all Christians, celebrate it?
