After visiting several pages I found that there are times when one is automatically signed-out and has to go and sign-in again. I am not finding an icon on each page, no matter where you are at, that would help facilitate the signing-in process again as other forums have. Would there be the possibility of placing such a sign-in icon on ALL pages? Thank you.

RoboOp doesn't need another chore. Just click the "post reply" button at the top of the page if you're looking at a thread. When it says that you aren't logged in, it will give you the option to log in. Then do it.

When you sign in the first time, make sure that the box labeled 'Remember' is checked. This will "keep you logged in" - and should cause the auto-logout you are experiencing to cease.

:)

Yeah, i can go a few hours being inactive before it will disconnect me. So if you're disconnecting that often somethings up. Hopefully GRA's suggestion will work.

Thank you, GRA for your help. Actually, it appears that I only become disconnected after going to the CHAT ROOMS after being in some other area(s) of the forum first that I have to connect all over again. But this happens only when I switch over and go to that area called the Chat Rooms, strangely enough. Also, I keep the "remember me" box ticked but it still happens. Will see how it goes. Thank you much though.

I see. That is very interesting. I too think something may be up with the frequent disconnects but only when I jump to and enter into the Chat Rooms area. Yes, thank you, I too am hoping that continuing to try GRA's suggestion will help. Have a blessed day!

I have never had this problem. I find if u r in the forums then go to chat then my pc opens a second window so I can merrily switch between the two locations. In fact it allows me to continue to hear the chat and any bleeps while roaming the forums at the same time. I don't know how it does it. Maybe it is down to the pc settings or the cc control settings in your control panel.

That is a browser option. Something like:

New pages should be opened in:
* a new window
* a new tab

(radio buttons - you choose one of the two above options)

:)

.

You might also try different browsers to see if it happens on the one specific browser, or all of them. If it's just the one, post it here. Someone may have an idea of how to help.

This is how the site is designed to operate. The open window for the chat is utilizing Flash to operate.
