How many heretics have you truly converted either in CC chat rooms, or in the forums? I would like to hear your story.
Allow me to make another clarification. The reason that I asked this question in the first place was not to call every unbeliever or anyone who believed differently by heretic. My original intention was to ask if anyone on CC had converted a heretic WHO had come into the rooms or the forums spewing false doctrine.

In my (very limited) understanding, you seek to condemn the believers who may currently hold opinions contrary to established doctrine
upheld by the Church according to the Word of God, without understanding that we all, at one time, did not know or understand these things.

We all need to be taught, and the Lord is perfectly able to make His children learn His ways and what He conveys to us through His Word,
which is living and active.

Let's try again...... That's not what I'm saying! Those people who are persistent with trying to shove their doctrine down your throat, and that being their only purpose, these are the ones I'm talking about. ONLY THEM.
YES, I believe they need to be taught, if they will allow the Holy Spirit to convince them. However, after you try to teach them, and they fully reject what your saying after doing your best, note what the Bible says:

Titus 3:10 10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

He is talking about herictics like angelofmercy who comes to teach contrary to Biblical SOUND doctrine. He is asking, how many people of that sort have any one of us converted over to believing Truth. Seeing that these people will not convert over to sound doctrine, how long are you to contend to them (this last statement is my insert). Hope I have helped you Stephen.

So, how many heretics has anyone truly converted either in CC chat rooms, or in the forums? I really would like to hear at least one story.

don't waste much time talking to such people.

it goes against sound Biblical doctrine to do so.

Most should know how to recognize a good teacher from a false one. its part of learning to eat meat versus being a babe and drinking only milk.

though too many just want the soda's and don't even drink milk because it gives them that caffiene high...

James 3

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

anyway if you want to limit your discussion to people you have already prejudged as wolves/heretics, I don't really see the point of continuing this conversation.

every hear one plants the seed, another waters, But GOD gives the increase?

In the terms of learning truth and sound doctrine it is that way. We can not answer how many heretics we have converted, however if you read the testimony forum you will see how this site has touched the lives of many and helped them stop teaching heretical doctrines and walk upright in Christ. you will see examples of how a child of God spoke and turned them from SIN into Righteousness through faith in Christ.

However none of us can claim to have done it but we can testify to how God has moved within this site and through this place in our own hearts through the love and connection and the prayers of many here who read and may not post but pray continously for all who visit.

Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed,
to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men.
For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.
But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Titus 3:1-7)

But, yes, I see what you're saying. (thanks, cfultz) :)
We have no way of knowing when, or even if, the Lord gives up on such a person.
I see now the KJV uses the word "heretic", meaning someone who uses half-truths in willful disregard for the truth,
is that what you mean?
I also have no way of knowing if it's willful, but the Lord knows, and I do agree that it's usually pointless to argue
over what has been time and time again pointed out to someone. :(

Such arguments tend to be fruitless...except I have learned a lot here,
even from the 'heretics'.
Maybe especially from the heretics.
So, there you have grace in action, my friends. :)
God will use whatever He wills to instruct and perfect us. :)

I apologize if I was "factious' in this thread. :)

It seems that many don't like to hear about this. Many others have posted in here simply for the sake of correction. So far, we have three pages on this without a single CC conversion testimony. It's sad that few have simply "read the question", and wondered why I asked such a thing in the first place. :(

sad you don't actually read the responses.

if you want answers to your question, if you really want testimonies, read the testimony forum for a change....

instead of seating like a spoiled child waiting for someone to post in your thread what they have already posted elsewhere.

cfultz3, I have your testimony and Abiding's of your personal conversion, and I am grateful and thankful for the change God has made in your lives. Really I am. But, what I am looking for are those in the forums or the chat rooms who have actually converted OTHER heretics while on CC.

To the "lady" who continues to insult me, there's a reason why I am not posting this in the testimony forum. That's why it's in the Bible Discussion Forum. Can you imagine all of these posts, many of them correcting and insulting written in the testimony forum? it's bad enough they're in here.

So you see by those two testimonies, the only thing we can testify of is that we, as an indiviual, were a hertic before we were led by God to see our unbiblical ways. All credit goes to God, it is His Spirit who is our Tutor.

But now, as to that question I proposed, let us convert (turn around) those who are family and let God convert the one on the outside. As we all know, oftentimes God sends the rebellious to those of faith as a testomony and what wisdom can we speak but that from God. Therefore, let us put on the mind of Christ. They who will hear, will hear and will be led by God. So then, let us be an instrument used in the Harvest.
