what to do about a guy friend who talks to me about things i don't want to hear

That won't help his addiction any. And may not even help the way he talks to Ijust. Dating isn't a magic fix for sexual addictions, if anything, it will feed it as he will likely find someone to date who will feed into it.
 
i agree completely. the last thing he needs is a woman and the last thing any woman needs is him. i bet he has no clue how unappealing he comes off by leeching off people like this. the last thing he appears as is a stable reliable boyfriend figure. more like a needy annoying flea! the woman doens't want a little boy to take care of. the woman wants someone who can stand on his own two feet.

Just saying He likes it when you labour with Him and surely He likes it when you come to fellow brothers and sisters for help to a situation that has got you feeling down in life, is that so bad, k? I compliment everybody, and am quite punky sometimes, hopefully in a good way, just to bring His cheer , you know that, milady, the Lord leads, this I hope and pray, with every single word I say. Sorry if I praise too much though, and, I thought like a wave, you never wasted praise :)
