US Supreme Court to take up same-sex marriage issue.
They will be looking at when states choose to permit the marriages of same-sex couples, can the federal government refuse to recognize their validity. The Supreme Court will also hear a challenge to the federal Defense of Marriage Act, known as DOMA, passed by overwhelming margins in both houses of Congress in 1996 and signed by President Clinton. A provision of the law specifies that, for federal purposes, "the word 'marriage' means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife."

Please pray that our country keep DOMA intact and that no more changes to the law take place that follows Gods word. I also ask for prayer that same-sex couples laws be prohibited.

It's too late for the Netherlands already, and for most of the rest of Europe, and i'm afraid gay marriage can't be stopped in the US either.

Things are today as they were in the days of Noah, guaranteeing us that the Son of man's coming is very imminent. I care greatly and I'm praying! The consolation for me is that even the US Supreme Court cannot change my Christian values, my Love and reverence for God and his Word, or how I live my live in accordance with God's Word! True believers of America need to WAKE UP!
 
they can claim a marriage between the same sex is legal, but we all know as Christians what Gods word is, and no matter how much sinful men claim to know, God is the final word, they could make a law saying it's legal to marry your cow or goat, that doesn't change a thing as far as God is concerned
 
I guess im in the other camp again. While the bible and christianit may be against gay marriage and I wont argue that. It doesnt mean we should force an entire nation to live by biblical beliefs they dont hold. If this was a theocracy then i think the argument would be valid but the simple truth is we arent.

God has shown mercy before...right? ♥

So I pray, that the federal government re-reads the Constitution and remembers that there are rights given to the states.
And that the Lord's will is done! :)

No, you're in the other camp BY DEFINITION, which is the camp of those who resist God's will. It's not up to us to FORCE anybody to live by it, but the fact is that God's Word IS a universal truth, it applies to ALL.

I am very much a lot very prayerfully praying strong hard and deep on this Gods Word is the Law Of Rightousness for all Christians and unbelievers even though they do not accept that....... God Said it That Settles it amen allways amen-eth.....

yet they want us to be forced to teach Children that gay marriage is right, thats the issue, thats what the laws are trying to prove, soon it will be illegal to teach in your own church that it's wrong, many gay groups want teaching that being gay is wrong to be considered a hate crime, THATS the issue, do you think it's going to stop at marriage? if they want to call themselves married and live in sin thats their business, but I dont want that forced on everyone else, sin is matter of free will, I will continue to try and teach them the word, I dont hate them,it's not my position to hate them, but it's wrong and I will stand by that
