I for one am a take the bull by the horns type of a person. I have tried the waiting thing, didnt work well. It might work better in a more populated area but out here in Rural America it aint gonna work. That said God has given me very strict desires and guidelines that I will be true to. So I will be looking and actively seeking, however, will not settle for less than what God has to offer.

Okay cowboy... I mean MEDIC.... what if the lady has previously de-horned all her bulls?:D;):p

haha...Let me tell you a little story...Once upon a time I made poor decisions when I was younger about choosing a fella for myself...Then I said ''so hey, how about this, God....if I'm to end up wtih a guy you're quite literally going to have to drop him in my lap and until that day I'll assume you don't have anyone for me''. 14 years later I'm sorry I said it.....if you just sit around and wait for things to come to you without any action on your part you'll end up like me. Age-ed and aloooooooooooooone :P

Move or wait.. Just trust in the Lord, put all your hopes in Him. God will guide you =)

If we are on the path that God wants us on, and if God wants to marry, our lives will intersect with someone else's.

If we try to do it ourselves, we jump ahead of God and risk destroying everything He has planned.

To say we can do it ourselves is rebelliousness, for the just shall live by faith. We will reap what we sow.

This is a very serious topic. Our decisions can build on or destroy our salvation. So make the right ones.

I think we have to live our lives according to God's plan....if he leads you to move then nove....pray about it first and follow him. He will put you in the position in which you need to be.

I personally don't have much of a social life due to panic disorder. So for me to just "wait" would almost literally be waiting for a man to fall out of the sky. I'm trying to overcome this problem with much prayer and faith, however I do also believe that once I do get out there and meet people, it should be left in God's hands to deliver me to the man that is right for me. I feel this way because in past experiences I have seeked out a man and usually find one, but I tend to overlook the red flags because I want it to work and I'm taking it into my own will. This is recipe for disaster. I put it all into God's hands, stay true to myself and my moral standings, if a love interest is put off by that, it's just not in God's will no matter how much I want it to be.
