What I mean about glory is: like the 12 apostles will be 12 fountains upon the walls of New Jerusalem. Their glory is a part of New Jerusalem, inasmuch as the 12 tribes will each have their gate to enter New Jerusalem.
The way I am using glory here means lumination (different decrees of brightness). Because of:
1Co 15:41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
I cannot help but to think that we shall shine accordinly as the stars shines with different brightness.
And when it comes to:
Pro 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
If we are walking to the shining Light, then it gets brigher as we get closer. And when we die, we then stop walking to the Light (seeing that we are then present in the Light) and have reached a 'certain' brightness.
Is the last paragraph (concluded from the verse) saying that when we are transformed into our glorified bodies on that perfect Day that we will then shine as to the brightness we had on our path?
Please do not take me wrong, I am just curious as to Rev 19:8.
