I suggested they hire me as the mascot and I'd make a guest appearance on "Canada's Got Talent" but they simply said "Close the door on your way out", so I took that to be a No!

Or maybe they meant they found what they were looking for, so you could shut the door because they were looking no further.

I was trying to start the new year on a different note. I figured maybe I would try being sweet all the time not just 99.9%.

But Kat, if you had to go to college for 8 years, work completely exhausted and tirelessly on 2 hours of sleep a day in a hospital as an intern, pass the medical board examination and spent more on your education than the average person can comfortably retire with you should get paid in arms and legs too.

Oh no, you did not go there!!!

Actually the Raptors are on a bit of a winning stride right now, we won 8 out of the last 10 (notice I said "we" because we are winning. Once we get back to our usual ways and start losing, I will refer to the team as "them" again).

And luckily the NHL strike is still on, so no one can see how bad the Toronto Maple Leafs are!!!

Of course I went there!! lol

I always love it when men say "we". That is when I ask them when did they start playing for the team.
The way you have described the Raptors, it might be better if you go back to saying "them".

Come on, who names their team the "Maple Leafs"? Ohhhhhhh I am so scared of the "Maple Leafs".
It doesn't even sound scarey in a sentence. The other teams who play against them probably laugh
when they hear the team they are playing.

Actually, if you take a couple shots of Russian vodka, and squint your eyes really hard, the Toronto Maple Leafs symbol looks like a fierce and dangerous Ninja star!!!

But without the vodka and squinting, then yeah it just a leaf - lol.
