Through Christs death we are to reckon ourselves dead to sin and Alive to God. Romans 6:11 and the law Romans 6:14 and 7:4. We now have a living relation with the living God.

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Every sin that a man does is without the body. Why believe this is about premarital sex?

To put it simply, this is when the REAL you, leave yourself to know another YOU, who by appearance and to the world are made wise by. Maybe a man, gay all his life decides one day to know another self. Not because he didn't like being gay anymore. But because he seeks to be wise by appearance of what the world knows a man to be.

The church won't accept him being gay. So for his faith to God he believes he has to stop. Instead of just "being normal" finding a woman and marrying her, he becomes celibate. If a man stays such, then that is commendable , but if he don't actually do it, he will think it. Because his first love is to who he really is. A gay man. He will return to this love whether by thought or deed, AFTER KNOWING the man he portrayed to the world. Then to come back is a pollution of the mind.

What God has put together let no man tear asunder.

We are naked before Him!

Jas_1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God's salvation is a PERFECT gift. God saves ALL His children with an UNWAVERING, NON TURNING Spirit. HIS OWN! The moment God saves a person, AT THE END OF HIS REPENTANCE, God puts HIS HOLY SPIRIT in that person, THAT is the SEED that remaineth in a BORN AGAIN person.

I do not declare these people sinless and perfect, GOD does in 1 John 3:9... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 5:18.... We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Now that is what I call SALVATION! What an awesome God we serve in Christ Jesus! There is no horse as high AS GOD'S SALVATION!
HE RAISES US UP FROM POOL OF DEATH TO BE IN HIM.

Crossnote, I am not saved, I am not perfect, I am a sinner destined to hell, may God SAVE ME! Like He did so many before me. But if salvation means I will ALWAYS sin and ALWAYS fall short of His Glory, holiness and sinless perfection, then God can just leave me as I am. I am better than most people claiming to be "born again". So if God does not make me in the same level of holiness of the saints in HIS Bible, then He can leave me as I am. But if HE wants me to be perfect, then I HOPE WITH ALL MY SOUL HEART AND POWER, HE WILL DO SO! Save me like HE SAVED PAUL, PETER, JOHN, and the saints of Rome, Philippians, Ephesians, Hebrews and all the children of God, that will be .... AS HE IS IN THIS WORLD!

I know God's children (those born of God) CANNOT sin, all I hope is I am also chosen by God to be one of them! Who am I as sinner to even think God will choose me? But I may HOPE! And that not even Satan can take from me! Read 1 John 3. The whole chapter, I have that hope, and I am busy CLEANSING (Purifieth) MYSELF AS HE IS PURE, what are you doing? Sit back and trust on grace abound more becasue you are NOT CLEANSING (purifying). There is so many people that claim to be born again, but they stopped repenting, and they want me to believe them? Crazy! Either them or me!

We have the Holy Spirit. It is He who sanctifies us by opening our understanding to His Word, revealing His Son, convicting us of our SINS, chastising us in our stubbornness, cleansing us by His Blood, strengthening our faith, preparing us for that great Day. In other words He and not we is the Sanctifier.

God say if you have the Holy Spirit you CANNOT sin. For those that sin has NEVER known Him neither seen Him. Only the devil and his children sin. Like me! If you have the Holy Spirit and still sin, who sin you or God's Spirit? Do not fool yourself my friend.... The SAME John that said If we say we have not sinned...past tence.... 1 John 1:10... Also says... 1 John 3:9 that every person born of God CANNOT sin. So obviously you did not get the message in 1 John1 ...Look at the process in the three verses following....

1 Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (All have sinned and fall short, so no sane person would say this. But it does not have to stay like this God has a solution....)
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (The solution... confess our sins, and HE IS FAITHFUL to forgive (with forgivness comes VICTORY over sin, and with cleansing from ALL unrighteousness, comes righteousness in such a degree to the level of Jesus Himself (Eph 4:11 to 13))
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (Every BORN AGAIN (cleansed and forgiven person) is as righteous (sinless) as God is righteous 1 John 3:7 and these people DOES NOT SIN ANY LONGER and when others notice that they will ask... Have you ever sinned?... And all would say... If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us!

Now you should have no problem seeing the process of salvation in these three verses!

You are so right Zone, No one can make himself sinless, but GOD does it to all His Children through the BORN OF GOD....
1 John 3:9... 1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Do you think John also include himself as one BORN OF GOD? Or did John at least as one of the people that KNOW THIS... 1 John 5:18... We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

God says this about the ones that remain sinning.... 1 John 3:8... He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

I just believe if Jesus destroys the works of the devil for me, I CANNOT SIN! Jesus destroyed sin in my life!

It is not that we make ourselves sinless but it is when we die to the flesh and are made alive to the spirit through the Spirit. God does not input sin to a true saint's record and if there is no Law, then there is no sin to account for under the Son.

Seeing that the indwelling of the Spirit has taken the place of the Law for a saint as a schoolmaster, then sin comes only when there is willful disobedience to the Spirit's conviction of a matter. All who are in Christ has His seed in them and therefore cannot sin, for where is the Law to point out to them of sin?

Truly we are under grace and not the Law, and we know that there is no condemnation for those in Christ. Condemnation comes by the Law. Therefore, under grace and in Christ, we are sinless. And this all is done by the gracious act of God He performed through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Nope! I am the biggest sinner here, I just know If Jesus does destroy the works of Satan for me, I CANNOT sin. I read the Bible, and I believe God if He says that any person born of God (Rebirth as Jesus explained to Nico...) CANNOT sin. I do not argue or seek ways to justify my sin. I sin, and are not BORN OF GOD. But i am also not fooled by liers!

False teachers are plentiful. Why are they false and believe they are Truth teachers.... They read to many other stuff and are cleverly decieved. But the Truth of God is EASY to find, it your heart is searching truth. Jesus said it was not meant for the clever of this world. One thing I am not, os clever of this world. I am maybe the most truthful searcher I know. And when I heard God's calling I answered.... Lord please reveal to me...

Now I am a disciple and far from what I will be when God is finished, or maybe not so far, only God knows. All I know is..... God is busy with me, and when He finishes..... He will implant a NEW HEART AND NEW SPIRIT, and I will be HIS people and HE WILL BE MY GOD....

Remember this... YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS.... Either you sin and serve Satan, or you live holy and serve GOD!

There is also no way around this truth.... 1 john 3
