Q
I should have posted this before Christmas, but I hope someone saves this and makes it next year.
It's a popular drink for Christkindlmarkets across Germany, German speaking countries, and parts of the US with a large German population
ingredients
1 bottle of cabernet sauvignon (the brand doesn't matter)
2 or3 oranges (depending on how much flavor you want
a bag of cloves
2 or 3 cinnamon sticks
honey
Pour the bottle of wine into a regular pot, place on low heat
Cut the oranges into halfs and stuff 5 cloves into each orange
Place the oranges and cinnamon sticks into the wine and let heat up for 45-60 minutes
sweeten with honey
Enjoy a tasty German Christmas treat while it's still hot!
