I'm guessing this would be the forum to put a praise report on...

I had mentioned this in my thread yesterday, but I felt that I would share it here as well :) I had a lot of people on here pray for me to pass a Bio class I was really struggling with. Whether I pass or fail the class was going to be a determining factor on whether or not I should continue in my studies and become a counselor. I was thinking that being a counselor may be God's Will for me since He has given me certain gifts that I can help others with. So I was hoping God might help me retain what I studied, and remember more during the exam. I found out yesterday that I passed~ I ended up with a C in the class :) So I would like to thank those who prayed and praise God for helping me.
 
Praise God!! Do you plan on being a secular counselor or a Christian Counselor? What field of counseling do you feel that God is leading you toward?
Secular and Christian Counseling can work together. Check out this book. "Telling Yourself The Truth" by William Backus and Marie Chapian.
Albert Ellis was a scary little man but he had some great ideas.

The masters program that I am looking at taking is at a seminary college, so afterwards I would be licensed as a christian counselor. But concerning my clients, I think I would leave it open to counseling secular as well as in the church.
