Hi i going talk about a very touchy subject so before i start please don't attack me or judge me i have had this already i would rather you say nothing then for you to judge not because it will hurt me but i just don't want my brothers and sisters getting in to trouble.

I am a lesbian and i want to ask some questions that's been on my mind i wasn't sure to ask them but i thought well only way to find out is to ask so here i go

People say it is wrong to be a homosexual but is it wrong for them to worship God?

I lost my religion years back and God helped me back to his path but my sexuality hasn't changed so does this mean that God is ok with it?

We all sin everyday even when we ask for forgiveness and we sin and sin and sin again and again, but as people say it is a sin to be homosexual but the people who say this are sinners also so why do homosexuals have to get judged by them and get attacked and get told change your ways?

When we ask forgiveness for a sin we know we will continue to practice, there is no more forgiveness until we repent and forsake that sin. The reason is simple: it is not true repentance.
Homosexuality is a sin in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. I do not condemn you, but you must know what true repentance is........... renewal is available, repentance is available....... seek it while it can still be found. God does not always strive with man. Regardless of what the sin is......... or who commits it........ the results are still the same.........

James 1:14-16 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

I wont judge you at ALL, but I will say this. Give yourself over to God completely. Call out for him, listen to him, and commit to him. When you"ve have developed a deeper relationship with Christ your lifestyle will gradually shift to what God wants from you.

Identity sister. Please dont take this as a judgement on you, though I know it will seem like it for I have 2 in my family who say they are Lesbians...It's all about Identity.
You are identifying with who you are in Adam, instead of who you are in Christ Jesus.
As those before me have said, just keep seeking Jesus and things will change even though you at the moment may not want them too.
It is the same for everyone. Paul the apostle said he was an "insolent man"...was. Meet Saul the insolent man, is no different than someone saying meet me, the Lesbian.
But Paul's whole revelation is about the new creation man/person. That is true identity and true reality.
But when we commit sexual immorality we sin against our own body, those sins create more of a bondage than other sins.
Whether someone is a serial masturbator as I was for years, a fornicator, an adulterer, a homosexual, a drunkard...all these things are part of the old man, Adam...But if we continue worshiping God, the transforming love of God will change us ito his image, from inside our spirit to the outside behaviour, without even trying! Hallelujah!

No one should be attacking you in Christ's name. You and Christ are one spirit. 1 Cor 6:17 You died on the cross with Christ and have been raised up a new creature in Him, with His life as your new life.
Christians in their zeal harm many people, like Paul did before he knew love.
When Paul told the Corinthians to not have fellowship with any brother who is a homosexual or a drunkard etc, those people were revelling in it and had no desire to change in order to please God. But those who confess their sins and have a desire to change were not who he was referring to.
You have been open here..many people here probably struggle with some sexual sin as well, but do not say anything for fear of being disfellowshiped...because the level of love in the church is so low!!
You see it is not that God does not love you as you are...he loves you at your worst, because He knows we cannot change ourself! And

And he is not expecting us to change ourself..a dead person cannot do anything, and that is what Adam is - Dead. So he loves us into transformation, till we become as He is on the outer man. That can take all our life. To walk by faith in the true reality of who we are inside...not a lesbian, not a drunkard, not a homosexual, but CHRIST! That is who you are. It takes Him showing us this by the spirit of revelation.
My sisters say I judge them, and I have. I have apoligised. They say that if God does not accept me as a Lesbian, then he is not loving me. Not true. He loves us all with all our flaws, because He put us all to death! 2 Cor 5: 14-17?...all died.So we regard no one after the flesh any more, but after the spirit, after Christ..we see ourself as Christ now. Gal 2:20

You say don't judge, but the spiritual are called to judge righteously! You are in great danger of loosing your soul, as you claim you are a Christian, and a practicing lesbian, you need to repent and seek the mercy of God, forsake your evil ways and immorality, count the cost and seek His great mercy while you still have breath!

I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but to say a real follower of Christ cannot judge is wrong, and again its love that compels us to warn, not tell you all is well God accepts you in your vile sins, and you cannot judge!

This is not in the Bible I read.

But you have a free will choice to obey God or disobey Him, you were NOT born a homosexual, you choose this sinful behavior which is an abomination to God, so repent, seek His mercy, time is short, a few seasons of pleasure leads to an eternity of pain, misery, and torment!

As long as mankind has breath repentance can be found, yes I mean found, it usually doesn’t come until the sinning soul breaks down, yielding to the holy word of God, through the conviction of the Holy Spirit, who is convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment!

Now many will say repentance comes after the conversion, or somewhere down the road since stopping any sin is impossible, since mankind is depraved and unable.
But God is not mocked, God is still waiting patiently for His wayward creation to repent, forsake their sins, which mean they stop first, and then seek His mercy, broken as a wild horse, now useful to His master. He gave them free will and ability to choose to repent or not.
Rom 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
If your life is a mess, and you are living the lie, that tells your conscience you can sin and live of the world and still be saved, and in bondage to your flesh, giving into temptation whenever it comes knocking at your door, just remember it’s not God condoning your bad conduct, but your conscience becoming seared to the point that real repentance and faith will not be found, it will be too late, His great mercy and kindness will not last for long!
So it’s not too late for those who still have breath, and are ready to stop playing Russian roulette with the patients and mercy of God, this is not a game, this is life or death, for all eternity, repent before it’s too late and God says time is up.

How could it EVER not be okay to worship God? i don't care what you have done, have thought, have felt, God is bigger. Get closer to Him, and He will make it better.

By the way, being homosexual is not against the Bible. Doing homosexual sex is against the Bible. If you stop the actions, God will fix up the rest.

I'm going to start by saying that majority of your questions can not be answered by anyone, but yourself. Even those that are in the same boat as you can not answer. We all have different experiences, different relationships with God, different levels of understanding, different interpretations and because of those differences there is no definite answer to a lot of questions you may have. I know majority of the questions I have posed about my sexuality to other Christians(not necessarily on this site) have been avoided. The reason is they can't answer them. They don't understand my position and claim my understanding or lack thereof is twisting of Scripture.

However, the first question you posed has only one right answer and that is that it is not wrong to worship God. Any person, no matter what age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or sin they may have can worship God. God knows what is in the hearts of each of us. He knows whether we worship for real or for show. NEVER let anyone say you can not worship God. Whatever reason they may give for why you can not they will always be wrong.

You need to understand something. Any person that is apart of the LGBT community(especially those that identify as Christian) have repeatedly heard these verses over and over again. At this point you can expect one of the above to arise just at the mention of the word gay, lesbian, or homosexual, especially Leviticus verse because people just love the word abomination. Although, I am confused as to how Deuteronomy 22:5 condemns homosexuality. Maybe drag, but not a partnership of two men or women. What about kilts though? I don't care what you call it, but a skirt is a skirt. Are all Scottish men who wear kilts abominations? Even if it is a more masculine version of a skirt, it stills pertains to a woman does it not? Also, does the Bible say I can't like things that are typically associated with a woman or that I have to like things typically associated with a man? For example, I love shoes, shopping, and clothes. I hate sports and cars. To be perfectly honest I know nothing about cars and as for sports I barely get the basics. Let's just say I would rather be shopping.

What if you never begin the act? I've never been with man or woman, but I haven't changed. If the act is the sin then why when I have not sinned(only talking about gay sex) not been freed? It's not as simple as stopping the act or never starting. It's much deeper than that.

Without verse 11 you are blatantly stating she will not get into Heaven. We are all unrighteous and we all fall short of the glory of God and that is why verse 11 is so important.

"Such were some of you"...Paul is not saying that they had stopped having feelings for the same sex...but he is pointing out the reality, that they are now new creatures in Christ.

Going through life hating yourself is not necessary brother, but asking Father to show you your true identity. While we do not look at things that are seen, but at things unseen. Not looking at our flesh behaviour but by faith looking/seeing ourself as He sees us..Christ in you the hope of Glory.

The more God reveals this to our heart the more everything we inherited in Adam loses it's pull and power.

We can come boldly to the throne of mercy to find grace to help in time of need.

Because we have a High priest who can sympathise with our weaknesses.

Dont beat yourself up, just accept thatHe loves you and is in you working a transforming miracle in your life...your spirit in you is beholding Him face to face, so that you are being changed into the same image, from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of God...

When one turns to the Spirit/Lord, the veil is taken away...so that the glory is revealed to our spiritual eyes. Keep asking Him to show you. He already sees you as complete in Christ...but we struggle to see this. He already sees you as washed and sanctified...but we keep looking at the surfacethings, the seen things...instead of the unseen higher reality.

Transformation not condemnation!

That leads into another question. How many truly let the Lord show them what is really in their heart? Jesus didn't just talk about the outside. Neither did Paul for that matter. The Pharisees where so righteous on the outside,they had the appearance that they had it all together. It is so easy to judge someone by what they do on the outside,never mind the fact that the Lord also wants to deal with all the thoughts and motives of our hearts. It is so easy to clean up the outside of the cup or whitewash the tomb,but never touch the inside.
What are the thoughts when that guy cuts us off in traffic? How do we handle the person that gets the promotion before we do? How do we deal with the person that comes to church in shabby clothes because that is all they have? What are our thoughts when the boss calls one on the carpet when it wasn't your fault?
These things can all be hidden from others,but one the Lord still knows them,and what did He say about that? Didn't Jesus say this also
21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,[a] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister[c] will be subject to judgment. And ladies the reverse is true also.

Now for the $64,000 question. Does the Lord continue to show us where we are not in line with His word even on those things we are so convinced they are not wrong? Or does He continue to refine us as the Holy Spirit brings conviction? Are we transformed instantly into Christ's image or is it an ongoing process? Does anything change in any of our lives if we have not been convicted of it yet? Which comes first salvation or sanctification?

Then you are not in sin. Sexual preference, according to the best research is set at about age 8. Human sexual response, unlike any other mammal, shuts off at about age 6 months, and kicks back on at about age 8. Whatever you are experiencing socially becomes your lifetime sexual preference. I think (my opinion) this is the cause of ALL of it, although I know most people believe being gay can be inborn.

To answer your question, it does not matter if I am right or not. In either event, gay preference is one of hundreds of deviant sexual expectations, like foot fetishes, bondage, clothing fantasies, which do not go away even into the beginnings of old age. Almost every couple has to deal with something, even if it's only that the wife wants a beard on her mate or the husband wants long earrings on his.

The short answer is it takes longer for God to fix these things than you have given Him. The harder question is what do you do in the meantime? Rephrase the question: are you called to be married and have sex at all? (Matt. 19:12) If you feel you are, try getting to know some of the opposite sex, and see if there is a possibility. You will be uncomfortable with most. I am straight, but I have only found one woman I could ever be with even for more than a couple of hours. For 31 years, until she died, she was enough, and was able to minister God to me as a wife. But when the time came, I asked God, and He told me who the right one was. That's most of the battle, right there. Hi i going talk about a very touchy subject so before i start please don't attack me or judge me i have had this already i would rather you say nothing then for you to judge not because it will hurt me but i just don't want my brothers and sisters getting in to trouble.

I am a lesbian and i want to ask some questions that's been on my mind i wasn't sure to ask them but i thought well only way to find out is to ask so here i go

People say it is wrong to be a homosexual but is it wrong for them to worship God?

I lost my religion years back and God helped me back to his path but my sexuality hasn't changed so does this mean that God is ok with it?

We all sin everyday even when we ask for forgiveness and we sin and sin and sin again and again, but as people say it is a sin to be homosexual but the people who say this are sinners also so why do homosexuals have to get judged by them and get attacked and get told change your ways?

I hope this does not come across as judgmental. My intention is not to condemn or attack you, but to show you what the scripture says. :)

First, when we surrender our lives to God we ask Him to empower us through His Spirit and put a new heart and clean spirit within us that is willing to obey Him.
It is possible for a Christian to fall into sin but it is also possible to resist temptation through the grace of God and sin does not have to be a habit. When a Christians falls into sin, they should realize that they have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, and repent and ask for forgiveness. Then the point of that repentance is to not return to that sin. Repentance is a change of mind and turn from sin and self to God.
Rom 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Rom 6:15-16
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Believers are not under the law but under grace, however grace is not a license to sin, for willful disobedience to God is abusing His grace. If one is yielding to dictates of the flesh they are obeying the master of sin but if they are yielding to godliness through the power of God they are servants of righteousness.

Second, if you really love God, desire to serve Him wholeheartedly, and want a changed life, have faith in Him and prayerfully ask Him to deliver you from this bondage. That God brought you back to His path is probably His initial work of transformation in your life. Ask Him to complete this work He has started in your life. There are testimonies of people who were held in such captivity but were delivered. The Lord can do the same for you but you have to be sincere before Him.
Jer 32:27- Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? God can set you free.
John 8:36- If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
1Thess 5:24- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Replace the word "lesbian/homosexual" in the OP with the word 'murderer' and reread again. That way, you can reasoned it out for yourself and find the answer to your OP without other Christians telling you this and that.

I'm going to start by saying that majority of your questions can not be answered by anyone, but yourself. Even those that are in the same boat as you can not answer. We all have different experiences, different relationships with God, different levels of understanding, different interpretations and because of those differences there is no definite answer to a lot of questions you may have. I know majority of the questions I have posed about my sexuality to other Christians(not necessarily on this site) have been avoided. The reason is they can't answer them. They don't understand my position and claim my understanding or lack thereof is twisting of Scripture.

However, the first question you posed has only one right answer and that is that it is not wrong to worship God. Any person, no matter what age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or sin they may have can worship God. God knows what is in the hearts of each of us. He knows whether we worship for real or for show. NEVER let anyone say you can not worship God. Whatever reason they may give for why you can not they will always be wrong.




You need to understand something. Any person that is apart of the LGBT community(especially those that identify as Christian) have repeatedly heard these verses over and over again. At this point you can expect one of the above to arise just at the mention of the word gay, lesbian, or homosexual, especially Leviticus verse because people just love the word abomination. Although, I am confused as to how Deuteronomy 22:5 condemns homosexuality. Maybe drag, but not a partnership of two men or women. What about kilts though? I don't care what you call it, but a skirt is a skirt. Are all Scottish men who wear kilts abominations? Even if it is a more masculine version of a skirt, it stills pertains to a woman does it not? Also, does the Bible say I can't like things that are typically associated with a woman or that I have to like things typically associated with a man? For example, I love shoes, shopping, and clothes. I hate sports and cars. To be perfectly honest I know nothing about cars and as for sports I barely get the basics. Let's just say I would rather be shopping.



What if you never begin the act? I've never been with man or woman, but I haven't changed. If the act is the sin then why when I have not sinned(only talking about gay sex) not been freed? It's not as simple as stopping the act or never starting. It's much deeper than that.



I'm not sure if this was deliberate or accidental, but when delivering 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, it is best to include verse 11 as well. Without verse 11 you are blatantly stating she will not get into Heaven. We are all unrighteous and we all fall short of the glory of God and that is why verse 11 is so important.

11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Why do you assume we lack faith in God? I don't speak for everyone, but I hope that one day I can wake up and not be attracted to men, but until that day do I have to go through life hating myself? If I have to I will. If depression and thoughts of suicide will stop me being gay then I will do it. You really don't understand what I'd do or give away to not be this way.

Why especially homosexuality? When I was saved, it took a little while to completely change my ways, because my mind was so filled with bad thoughts. Since she is saved, she will slowly change into the person God wants her to be.

I just read something in the bible i would like to share with you it means a lot to me but you might not see it my way which i will respect and thank you again

1 corrinthians 7- 17-24

Each one should go on living according to the Lords gift to him and as he was when God called him. This is the rule i teach in all the churches. If a circumcised man has accepted God's call, he should not try to remove the marks of circumcision; if an uncircumcised man has accepted God's call, he should not get circumcised. For weather or not a man is circumcised means nothing; what matters is to obey God's commandments. Everyone should remain as he was when he accepted God's call.
Were you a slave when God called you? Well never mind; but if you have a chance to become a free man use it. For a slave who was called by the Lord is the Lord's free man who has been called by Christ is his slave. God bought you at a price; so do not become slaves as men.
My brothers each one should remain in fellowship with God in the same condition as he was when he was called.

So to me this is what i think that God called to me which he did as i said i lost my religion he knows who i am and what i am this is my condition. Many of you will probably won't read in to it the same as me people have different perspectives but this is my perspective. And to to tell you the truth i came across it by chance as i was looking for something else in the Bible.
